Continue ReadingJeremiah has been impressive at multiple stops this off-season and has shown that he also might be able to play linebacker in college. He has a strong build, no bad weight and is twitchy enough/runs well enough to possibly be a standup DPR prospect as he is a talented pass rusher with natural bend and explosion off the edge. Only a rising Junior, he should see colleges take notice this Fall and next off-season. During his Sophomore season with his hand in the dirt, he showed an explosive first step, heavy hands and established quick inside placement with very impressive redirection, open field closing speed and is a natural bender off the edge. Tuileila is one of Sacramento’s best defenders and will be a force come the Fall.
Millican is another top tier pass rusher across the region but has been flying a bit under the radar this off-season. He is a well put together kid with a thick lower body and strong top build while only going to continue to pack on more weight. Checking in just over 6’2″ and around 215 pounds, he moves well in space, shoots his hands quickly and is strong at the POA while able to provide a variety of pass rush comes through out his speed or power rushes. He should gather D-II and FCS interest through this season and could be a very nice late steal for aa FCS school due to his untapped potential and overall movement abilities/athleticism for the position.
Timoteo Poloka
Timoteo Poloka
Poloka is one of the more dominant interior players across the vaunted WCAL and impressed at the Serra/De La Salle College Showcase last week. He has a strong lower half, gets underneath blockers with violent hands and snaps out of his stance while able to defeat reach blocks/double teams and redirect to pass rushing quickly. Poloka is a high motor kid that flows quickly to the ball in backside pursuit, shows quick block recognition and understands how to use his leg drive and power to get underneath blockers and lock them out underneath before a violent shed. He should have another stellar season for what will be one of the top defenses in the state in 2023.
