The school year is winding down across the state. Meanwhile, recruiting and performance camps continue to heat up. In this article, we are going to focus on the recruiting news that is making headlines across the state of Texas. As the summer approaches, the recruiting work starts up in full force.

Hunter Boudreaux-Defensive Back-Tompkins-6'0” 185-Pounds-2024

Hunter Boudreaux is a safety that has no problem moving up to fill the rushing lane gaps. He has the speed needed to cause problems for opposing wide receivers. Boudreaux does a great job of wrapping up the ball carrier and bringing him down. Over the weekend, Boudreaux earned a scholarship offer from Angelo State University. I look for Boudreaux to earn more scholarship offers over the next few weeks.

Cade Bynnom-Quarterback-University-5'9” 130-Pounds-2026

Cade Bynnom is a quarterback to keep an eye on over the next few seasons. He does a great job of throwing while on the run. Bynnom keeps his eyes down the field and looks to make the throw before scrambling out of the pocket. He is the definition of a dual-threat quarterback. Bynnom can hurt you with his arm or his legs and will cause problems for opposing defenses over the next couple of seasons. Bynnom earned an invitation to the Princeton University camp earlier this week.

Jordan Nichols-Offensive Line-Lufkin-6'2” 300-Pounds-2024

The Lufkin guard is an absolute powerhouse. Nichols works to finish every block and will drive his opponent to the ground. He displays quick feet and has the explosiveness to get into an opposing defensive lineman quickly. Nichols has the potential to have an impressive season in 2023. He earned a scholarship offer from McMurry University. I expect Nichols to rack up some more offers over the next few months.

D'Andre Hardeman Jr-Running Back-North Shore-5'8” 180-Pounds 2025

Hardeman Jr. has excellent patience at the running back position. He does a great job of allowing his blockers to set up a rushing lane for him to explode through. Hardeman Jr. has no trouble cutting the run to the outside and taking off down the sideline. The talented North Shore running back earned a scholarship offer from Texas A&M Commerce earlier in the week. Hardeman Jr. has the potential to have a strong season in 2023 and is a prospect to watch out for this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='934956' first='Maruio' last='White']-Defensive Line-Mansfield Summit-6'3” 205-Pounds 2024

[player_tooltip player_id='934956' first='Maruio' last='White'] is an extremely versatile prospect on the defensive side of the ball. He does a great job of defeating blocks and getting into the opposing offensive backfield. White is a consistent tackler that rarely misses tackles. The Mansfield Summit defensive lineman earned a scholarship earlier in the week from the Memphis Tigers. I look for White to continue rack up the scholarship offers over the next few months.
