In this report, I will review the 2022 season highlight film and give a short analysis of each of the newly Top ranked recruits we have identified as “Linebackers” and who are balling in Connecticut.
Asher Wasserman Asher Wasserman 6’2″ | 220 lbs | LB Hamden Hall | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #1 class of 2025 “Linebacker” in Connecticut and also the # 1 ranked “Linebacker” in the New England. He attends Hamden Hall in Connecticut.
He plays with a very low pad level and he makes secure and reliable tackles. He has a higher ability to read initial keys. He posses the instincts to work around blocks. His size allows him to see through the box and make plays with chaos around him. He shows initial quickness and acceleration to be an effective blitzer. Plays with a chip on the shoulder and has film clips of his ability to bull rush and be very disruptive.
He should be a very active recruit on the 2023 summer college camp circuit. Just a matter of time before he see a spike in recruiting interest.
Mason Frey Mason Frey 6’2″ | 225 lbs | LB Fairfield Prep | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #2 class of 2025 “Linebacker” in Connecticut and also the # 2 ranked “Linebacker” in the New England. He attends Fairfield Prep in Connecticut.
His film shows he is a rising young edge player with a high ceiling and time to grow and continue to develop. He has the ability to make secure tackles while playing very aggressive and physical. Very disruptive to the opponents backfield in many phases. He has the initial quickness and acceleration to be effective blitzer. Shows the ability to keep the edge with good hand placement on blockers and technique used to make the play. He is a relentless pursuer and gives consistent effort each rep.
He should be another very active recruit on the 2023 summer college camp circuit. Just a matter of time before he see a spike in recruiting interest.

Gavin Groh Gavin Groh 6’3″ | 235 lbs | LB St. Thomas More | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #3 class of 2025 “Linebacker” in Connecticut and also the # 3 ranked “Linebacker” in the New England. He attends St Thomas Moore in Connecticut.
A reclass year at St. Thomas Moore in fall 2023, should help with a more national exposure for this young man. He is a very large framed linebacker who can move and bend in space. Very disruptive player who can force an offensive to account for his alignment on the field during pre-snap. “Groh can move with very good quickness and speed for his size. He has length in his arms and he uses this to his advantage with good leverage seen when taking on blocks and shedding. His reactionary skills are solid. Has good field awareness.
Another recruit who will see recruitment interest begin to spike during 2023 college summer camp season.

He stands at 6’3, 230lbs with the ability to move in space. “ Tyler Georgs Tyler Georgs 6’2″ | 230 lbs | LB Brunswick School | 2025 State NewE “ can provide some alignment versatility, boasting a skillset that allows him to produce from any linebacker spot. This versatility is already a huge plus on his resume. He is considered one of the better front seven defenders in the class of 2025. Georgs’ has a large athletic frame. He flies to the football and can often meet ball carriers to the hole before a hole can even develop. His size on film easily pops.
He is a recruit who will see his recruitment interest begin to pick up after 2023 summer camp season and during the fall 20-23 season.

Ben Bazarian Ben Bazarian 6’1″ | 210 lbs | LB The Taft School | 2025 State NewE He is ranked as the #5 class of 2025 “Linebacker” in Connecticut and also the # 5 ranked “Linebacker” in the New England. He attends Taft School in Connecticut.
Bazarian and has the ability to set the edge. He shows an excellent ability to pursue the ball carrier and finish the play. He can identify and quickly react to runs while putting ball carrier’s in the dirt before they can even get up field. A nose for the ball is the best way to describe his reactions and decisions. He can see through the box and make plays with chaos around him. Knows how to plug gaps with shoulders square and good use of hands, all while maintaining gap integrity.
He will grab college attention during his 2023 summer college camp circuit.
