Continue ReadingJackson has recently been picking up some new G5 offers and was very impressive at the Northern California NP Showcase event this past weekend. He is a very smooth player with fluid hips/COD abilities and shows some short area twitch with outstanding high-point abilities and ball skills in transition. He is physical near the LOS, plays with good hands in press and understands zone coverage responsibilities while having a high IQ in the back end. Jackson also shows he is not afraid to come up and bang in run support while taking good angles into the backfield and very physical near the LOS. He is a no brainer P5 caliber player and one of the best athletes in the region and will anchor the El Cerrito defense in 2023, who should be yet again in the mix for a NCS section title.
Noble was another very impressive prospect across multiple events this off-season and has tested well, passes the eye test and offers nice position versatility at the next level. He is long, rangy and flashes elite closing speed and twitch near the LOS while able to play both as a rush end and seems comfortable at the second level as well. He is a downhill thumper that fills through contact, is violent at the POA while closing quickly and is able to knife into the backfield consistently. Noble flashes he can make plays outside the tackles, covers ground in space with long strides and offers twitch and active hands off the edge against bigger tackles while a natural bender. He can play all over the field at the next level and with his elite athleticism and length, it should not be long until he collects his first FBS offer.
The standout Serra product is one of the best defenders in Norcal and is coming off a very impressive season for the top team in Northern California. Very technically sound in press coverage with his hands, eye discipline and feet, Loud also offers nice return abilities and makes a big impact on special teams. He is a patient returner that waits for his blocks to develop before hitting the hole and shows a nice burst after contact with open field speed as well and possessing a third gear. Loud is a no brainer next level kid that has been a bit under-recruited this off-season but should have a productive 2023 season
