Jamerson’s a long perimeter defender with a natural frame and athletic skillset for the CB position. He’s most effective at the LOS in press coverage where he can disrupt timing and shows quality technique. He’s a rangy tackler outside that can shut off the sideline and closes space with urgency. Jamerson just added an offer from Louisville this month with other offers from Syracuse, Washington, and UNLV.
Lewis, Ishmael Gibbs Ishmael Gibbs 5'9" | 160 lbs | DB Chaminade | 2025 State CA (‘25) and Marquis Gallegos Marquis Gallegos 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA (‘24) form one of the most talented secondaries in the state. Lewis is a lankier-framed CB with long reach and fluid movement. He chews up ground with his long strides and breaks hard downhill as a tackler. He’s notably light on his feet, changes direction smoothly, and reacts quickly to QB release. Lewis holds three offers from Nevada, Arizona, and San Jose St.
Gibbs is another D-I prospect in the Chaminade secondary. He embodies a similar lockdown skillset as Le’Roi Lewis Le’Roi Lewis 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Chaminade | 2025 State CA with athleticism and skillset tailor made for the position. He moves with rapid change-of-direction and explosive burst to the ball. He’s twitchy in his ability to mirror patterns and possesses plus-side closing speed. He totaled 37 tackles and 15 PBUs as a sophomore. Gibbs picked up offers from USF and Nevada in January.
Highlights
Menefee’s a natural cover corner with appealing upside and talent for the position. He plays with advanced instincts and is extremely active in the passing lanes at all three levels. He outperforms his 5’10”/150 size in 1v1 situations and excels at creating PBUs with his timing and anticipation. Menefee’s drawn FCS interest from Sac St. and Weber St and should be due for his first offer by the end of the year.
