Carrigan saw some snaps at middle linebacker for Los Alamitos last year as a freshman. He had 42 tackles, which is the most for a returning player on Los Alamitos’ defense.
He moves well laterally and is very aggressive when defending the run game. He is in the backfield before the offensive lineman can get off his double team to block him.
Highlights
Taeleifi is an inside linebacker who has some size as a freshman at 215 pounds.
He got some reps on the kickoff team for varsity team as a freshman and made some tackles. As a linebacker, he’s a good tackler who can lay some big hits.
Sometimes it takes him a little long to read his guards in the running game, but he is a freshman and will improve on that with more playing time. He has the size to be a varsity contributor as a sophomore.
Williams is part of a group of really talented young players in Mater Dei’s secondary.
He is a safety who primarily plays in two-high coverages and can cover a lot of the field. He closes to the ball quickly and lays big hits on people. He is physical and has a mean streak in him.
Williams has a handful of offers including Colorado State, Connecticut, and Campbell among others.
Morris played on the lower levels for JSerra last season and showed he can make big plays.
He has some speed once he gets going into the open field. He reads his blockers well and is a downhill runner.
JSerra returns both its top running backs from last season, but I guarantee the new coaching staff will find ways to get Morris the ball at the varsity level.
Morris has an offer from Arizona.
