The 2026 class has some studs who shined last year with varsity. Let’s take a look at some guys who are worthy of some offers.
Jayce Taylor, LB, Biggersville
Taylor plays both ways for his 1A school. However, I think his money maker is going to be on defense. Taylor is 6-foot-2, 220-pounds with a heavy motor. He also moves very well. Taylor has long arms that immediately stun offensive linemen. He has great fundamentals, and he immediately finds the football after making contact with a blocker. He sheds blocks very fast then gets to the ball carrier. I think that Taylor is a power five prospect. He should see his stock rise this year.
Tre’kievion Ellis Tre’kievion Ellis 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Hazlehurst | 2026 MS , ATH, Hazlehurst
Ellis can tote the rock. The big boy says he loves to run the football. Ellis is also very dangerous on defense. The young man is very aggressive with offensive linemen. He is a solid tackler that brings runners down on contact. Ellis has a quick release from the line when he is coming from the edge. His hands are feisty and quick. He is a guy that I would offer right now.
Bryson Holt Bryson Holt 5'11" | 175 lbs | ATH Nashville Christian | 2026 State TN , ATH, Nashville Christian
Holt put on a show at the PRZ TN Prospect Tour. He showed off his amazing speed. Holt recently picked up his first offer from New Mexico State. There should be a lot more coming for the very speedy prospect. He can run good routes that is going to get him the separation he needs. Holt also has a chance to be a defensive back on the next level. He is going to continue to get taller and gain more muscle. Keep your eyes open for his name.
Elias Childers Elias Childers 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Knox. Webb | 2026 State TN , QB, Knoxville Webb
Childers is a very accurate quarterback that has a strong arm. He is receiving a lot of power five interest. He is a prospect who is going to start seeing some offers come in this year. Childers has the ability to put the football anywhere you need him to. Childers is very great in the pocket. He has the ability to extend plays. Childers also has the size to take some bumps and bruises. Be sure to keep up with his name.
