Taren Hedrick | OL | Battle |
This 6’6′ 305 OL prospect saw time as a defensive tackle as a freshman, but switched offensive line as a sophomore, and it really paid off. Taren has great size and mobility. Good feet and quickness, with good run blocking and pass pro skills already that he continues to develop, and is very physical and aggressive. You can see how will continue develop and how he is already on the trajectory to be a high level D1 prospect. Colleges have already taken notice and offers are coming in from the likes of Missouri, Iowa State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Kansas State, Kansas, Nebraska and UNLV already. Look for his recruiting profile to increase following his junior season.
Antonio Parker

Parker had an outstanding sophomore season, and colleges really took notice of it. He’s a lock down DB prospect with good hips, back peddle and can turn and run with any receiver. He continues to grow and get bigger this offseason and looked very good going against name receivers from across the Midwest in the UC Report camp last month. As a sophomore he had 19 tackles and pick. He seems equally adept in pass coverage and in run support. Arkansas, Iowa State, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Louisville, UNLV and Nebraska have already entered the race for his services. He goes for another state championship as a junior.

The Bruins have the luxury of not only one D1 QB on their team but two of them. Davidson plays behind 2024 big-time D1 QB prospect

, but has shown that he is a big-time college quarterback prospect in his own right. A very talented multi-sport athlete at 6’5″ 200, Brady had an impressive basketball season this year and also plays baseball. He did a great job filling in for Kaiser when he went down for a minute in the season and showed his live arm and accuracy as a passer. He’s mobile and can run well. Davidson has all the skills you look for in a D1 quarterback. He has the potential to possibly vie for being the top QB in the state by his senior year if he continues to develop as he has. Despite his limited varsity playing time, Ohio University saw enough to give him his first D1 offer. I suspect his recruitment will continue to take offer this season and next springs.
Carter Foote

The speedy Foote has played multiple positions for his Bombers in his first two season at Burroughs. The talented and speedy athlete has played QB, WR, RB, DB and can do it all. It looks like the track athlete will wind up playing WR & CB this season and on the college level where he utilizes his speed, athleticism and skill set. He is a talent on the rise that schools are taking notice of and he’s already picked up a D1 offer from Ball State.
Tillman Martin

Another talented young QB who will get his opportunity this season that is new to the rankings is Martin. Playing behind a college QB last season meant he had limited opportunity, but he has shown he has college potential in his play on the field, in 7v7 season and at camps. He has shown good athleticism, mechanics and a big arm. Tillman’s feet, arm strength and accuracy standout when you watch him. He looks like he will be up next on a very talented team that produces college prospects.

The talented sophomore pass rusher was forced to play JV last season after transferring from Edwardsville (IL) following his freshman season. I watched him dominate on that level with his explosive first step,. quickness and speed off the edge. He is a disrupter in the backfield and does a great job getting to the QB. He had an outstanding showing at the recent Elite Combine competing against top competition from around the region. He has a tremendous motor and works hard on improving his skill. He’s also a talented wrestler. Toledo took notice of him already and extended an offer. He is also getting looked at from other schools including Northern Illinois among others. I expect a big season from him coming up.
Blake Brown

This 2025 lineman is up next on a Hawks team that is loaded with college line prospects. Brown showed me flashes of what his potential was as a freshman getting some varsity time. He missed some action last season but has been a beast in the offseason training and competing with the Boom Football trench warfare team. Blake has a great motor, is a quick twitch athlete who explodes of the ball and displays very good strength. He’s still learning and getting better but received his first offers this offseason with a HBCU camp performance with Alabama A&M and Prairie View A&M being impressed enough to offer on the spot. Look for a breakout junior season from him that earned him a spot among the new additions in the rankings.
