If you aren’t familiar with the name TaiYion “Tank” King or haven’t viewed this young man’s film, then you’re missing out. It’s rare to have a football athlete in the state of Texas play as a freshman on varsity; much less be named a starter! Tank checked both of those boxes. While standing at a legit 6’2 205 pounds, Tank is a load of an athlete at the linebacker position. The tape displays an uncanny speed-to-power ratio, violence upon the pop action on tackles, early play recognition, and flat-out explosiveness. Already possessing the size that many juniors and seniors pray for, Tank will be a good one. I’m calling it here and now; this kid has future five-star written all over him. Turn on the tape and you will think that you’re watching a four-star junior in high school. He’s well-versed in run and pass concepts and has outstanding box discipline. Tank is not one to watch; Tank is one recruiters had better get to know…
RYLAND STARK I 2026 I OL I 6’3.5 I 250 I CONROE I CONROE, TEXAS
Ryland Stark was and is a load of an offensive lineman for his respective Texas program. Stark is a high academic athlete that translates classroom IQ to on-field execution. Stark is a swing tackle capable of playing either left or right tackle. He has an amazing wingspan that he uses to reach and redirect rushers with a shock. Stark played well against bull rushes and those seeking to use dip-to-spin techniques in pass rushing. He can always be seen looking for the pancake at the end of the play and prides himself on playing through the echo of the whistle. Ryland Stark has the size already as a freshman and plays with a defensive lineman’s persona. Look for him to make noise in his sophomore campaign and catch the eyes of scouts in the fall.
TRENTON FRANKUM I 2027 I ATH I 5’10 I 165 I LYNN LUCAS JR HIGH I WILLIS, TEXAS
You won’t find a harder worker than Trenton Frankum of Willis, Texas. However, Frankum is far from a mere blue-collar try-hard type of athlete. Frankum destroyed the Junior High school circuit in Montgomery County and Conroe Independent School District (CISD). Transitioning from the quarterback position, Frankum is known as the “Red-Headed Assassin” due to his knack for breaking the opponent’s hearts on offense and defense. Blazing speed and a nose for the ball. He dominates games from the safety, linebacker, receiver, and running back positions. He looks like a young Christian McCaffery on offense and Jason Seahorn on defense. His Twitter is overcrowded with him posting extra work to get better. He isn’t posting extra work with expensive trainers or groups of friends. His videos are of him grinding alone and on purpose with purpose. There is something special about this kid that the eyes can’t deny. Remember his name because if you don’t, you eventually will.
Cayden Williams I 2027 I QB I 5’10 I 160 I PEET JR HIGH I CONROE, TEXAS
Cayden Williams is a quarterback in Montgomery County, Texas who models his game after Derek (DJ) Lagway Derek (DJ) Lagway 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Willis | 2024 State TX who is arguably one of if not the best players in the country for the class of 2024. He was groomed early on by Lagway’s father Derrick Lagway Sr in Pop Werner football where he had a chance to watch the development of Derek (DJ) Lagway Derek (DJ) Lagway 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Willis | 2024 State TX . To his benefit, Williams took his experiences to heart and transitioned from linebacker to quarterback for his 8th-grade year of junior high school, and that made all of the difference. His tape puts his escapability on display along with his track speed on the scramble. When he scrambles he’s pretty much taking it to the house unless he has to lower the shoulder on a smaller defender downfield. Williams shows poise in the pocket and can be observed scanning the field for his progressions to deliver the ball to playmakers. His average deep ball has been recorded at a consistent 45-48 yards at the age of 14. Already standing at 5’10 160 with a sub 5 second 40-yard dash laser, this kid is going to be a problem. Especially if he keeps following the path and work ethic of his hero Derek (DJ) Lagway Derek (DJ) Lagway 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Willis | 2024 State TX .
