The Jonesboro native was a stout run defender who also shined in coverage last year, picking off two passes and returning one for a touchdown. A hard-hitting middle linebacker who knows how to drive the ball-carrier backwards, Ofor was a tackling machine in 10 games last year, making 85 total stops with 10.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage. He reads the run well, gets down-hill in a hurry, and brings an intimidating presence to the Mundy Mill's defense. A three sport athlete who also plays basketball and participates in track and field, Ofor is one of the top returning linebackers in the region for the 2024 class. He made at least 8 tackles in seven games along with two forced fumbles last year and should be even better as a senior next fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Braden Henslee - Habersham Central</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An impressive North Georgia linebacker to know, Henslee lit up the stat sheet last year as a junior and is one of the top returning linebackers in the region. As a junior last season in just nine games, the 5-foot-10 185-pounder was as productive as anyone in Northeast Georgia, making an impressive 109 tackles and 11 TFLs. A versatile linebacker who can play in the middle of the field or on the outside, Henslee knows how to power his way through blocks and attack the ball-carrier. He has a great motor and a true nose for the football. He averaged about 11 tackles per game and brought his "A" game every Friday night. He consistently found his way to the football and was tough to handle for anyone in the area who needed to block him. A Region 8-6A 1s-team All-Region selection, look for Henslee to keep bringing his tough, physical play into next fall in his final season. One of the hardest-hitting linebackers in the region, Anderson knows how to get into the backfield with ease. Whether he's closing gaps between the tackles or getting after the quarterback, Anderson was a reliable playmaker for one of the top teams in the area. The Grizzlies consistently produce high-level linebackers, and Anderson is the next to make a name for himself in the area. He made an impressive 84 tackles as a junior last year with 10 tackles coming behind the line of scrimmage. He also sacked the quarterback for times and rushed the quarterback 12 more times. He's productive, instinctive, and plays the position the correct way.
