WR Jordan Shipp Jordan Shipp 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Providence Day | 2024 State NC – Providence Day
At 6’2 and 192 pounds, Jordan has been impressing us for a long time. He high points the ball exceptionally well, going viral a few years ago with an incredible one-hand catch in 7 on 7 competition that really kind of got his name out there initially. Son of Steve Shipp, who played at Florida, Jordan runs great routes and has very strong hands. He named a Top 8 back in February, in no particular order: Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, Kentucky, Maryland, Cincinnati, Michigan, and Virginia Tech. Of course with his teammate QB Jadyn Davis Jadyn Davis 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Providence Day | 2024 State NC recently choosing Michigan, a lot of Wolverine fans are hoping for a package deal – we will see eventually!

Charlotte Christian | 2024

The son of NFL Hall of Fame Defensive Lineman Bryant Young, Bryce has picked up recruiting attention from a large number of schools including Michigan, Miami, Norte Dame, Miami, Penn State, USC, and Tennessee. So why all of this interest? Well, being 6’5 and 240 pounds coming off of the edge is a pretty major reason. The bloodlines show clearly with Bryce’s quickness off of the football, many times blowing past a blocker without being touched on the line of scrimmage. He can explode through running backs who try to step up and protect, and still impact the quarterback. He tackles very well in space and has the speed to run plays down from the backside consistently.

I had the chance to interview Nolan earlier in his career, and he’s a well-spoken and confident young man. That carried him to being selected as a 1st team All-American kicker by several respected publications and kicking-focused services. Nolan has committed to Clemson, and he’s got everything you want in a kicker. He’s repeatedly made big kicks in important games from all types of distances and angles. Pressure doesn’t faze him, and he’s as consistent as you will ever see a high school kicker be. I’m excited to see him on the next level!

I watched Black up close last season in an important regular season go against some highly recruited defensive backs, and he made some plays and showed some really explosive ability. It’s been obvious that I wasn’t the only person that saw that, as he’s picked up a ton of recruiting attention and offers from schools including Duke, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Charlotte, & Old Dominion. At 6’1 and 185 pounds, he’s very strong overall and uses that to win releases against press coverage. He can win in the quick screen game and explode in open spaces. He can highpoint well in 1 on 1 situations, but has enough agility and quickness to play in the slot some too. I think he will get even more recruiting attention over the summer.

I have written about Jaden before, but as I was pleading with schools to realize the talent, suddenly they did and in an absolutely overwhelming fashion. Jaden has picked up offers from a large number of schools including Southern California (USC), Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Boston College and many more. At 6’3 and 195 pounds, Jaden specializes in playing the EDGE position and he absolutely explodes coming off of there. I made a highlight of him in action in the preseason last year where he had 6 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in limited action. He loves to bring the pop when he tackles and can make game-changing plays for his team consistently on defense. Even with all of the attention now, he’s a humble young man with a strong work ethic. A college will be very happy to welcome him into their program.
