Might as well start with this man for those that do not know, he is one of the top wide receivers in the country. Ranking by prepredzone and a number of other websites in the top 5 of all of the state, Adams has his choice of any college next season. Breakaway speed, size and strength all stand out when you watch his tape, what is most impressive to me though is his awareness of where the football is going. This four star recruit is masterful in tracking down overthrows and not revealing his hands too early for the defender to catch up. He hauled in 16 touchdown in his Junior year, with his precise route running I would not be surprised if he topped 20 for 2023.

We would doing a disservice if we did not talk about the young man lined opposite of Adams in Tasean Young-Stieff Tasean Young-Stieff 5’11” | 155 lbs | WR Green Run | 2024 State VA . A three star recruit himself with a top ten list of schools such as Maryland, Penn State, Coastal Carolina and Duke, this kid is not to be ignored! While his counterpart gets a lot of the rightfully deserved attention, Stieff has created his own path and is bound to cash in for 2023. A speedy slot type receiver who like Adams can track down any 50/50 ball. The Stallions were undefeated until their state semi-final loss to Maury last year, with Stieff and Adams back, those two alone make them heavy state title favorites in Class 5.

Deacon Rawls
Deacon Rawls
Oh boy does Kempsville have a potential star in their hands with their offensive tackle Deacon Rawls. The rising junior stands at 6’5 and 315 pounds and is very nimble on his feet. Watch anytime he is sent out to block on a screen for the Chiefs, the kid is flying down the field, it makes you feel bad for any defender in his path. Rawls really came into his own last year nabbing 2nd team all state honors and a first team all region selection. He has already received offers from West Virginia and Howard with his offer sheet expecting to fill up this summer.

A big shakeup in the Beach Conference was Mcintosh transferring from Ocean Lakes to Kempsville for his upcoming season. Regarded by many as 3 to 4 star recruit, the Chiefs have themselves a playmaker this Fall. The All region safety picked off 9, thats right 9 passes last year, and had 10 touchdowns on offense. He can do a little bit of everything and has already received offers from Liberty, Pittsburgh and Marshall. My guess is that the Flames are high on his list, but only time will tell where this athlete ends up.

Mayoy McGodfred
Mayoy McGodfred
Mcintosh will come into a defensive backfield with a lot of talent and Mcgodfred is most certainly of them. Mcgodfred nabbed two interceptions last year, but recording over 10 pass break ups are one of the many reasons a number of FCS schools are calling. This young man has good size and length for his position and rarely gets caught looking in the backfield like many elite corners do. With the addition of Mcintosh and a number of high caliber players, expect Mcgodfred to handle himself well and more major institutions to come with offers his way soon.
