Jaden Allen Jaden Allen 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Aledo | 2024 State TX is a four-star cornerback who has been on the radar for a while now due to his ability to play equally well in man or zone. He possesses rare closing speed and gets out of his peddle with authority. He is a sure tackler and ballhawks with cruel intentions. There is no frontrunner for his commitment, but every day brings a new clue. Stay tuned to Prep RedZone for the latest…..
JAYDAN HARDY
SAFETY •5’10” | 168 LBS I CLASS OF 2024 @ LEWISVILLE | LEWISVILLE, TX
Jayden Hardy is a “hit stick” waiting to happen from the safety and cornerback position. He has a knack for jarring the ball loose with multiple efforts and showing his passion in a celebratory fashion to the dismay of dejected receivers. You can put Hardy anywhere in the secondary or even send him on disguised blitz packages and he will boost your team’s chances of getting home and executing. I look for him to boost his prospect stock in the season to come based on sheer mentality and his gritty style of play.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE •6’4″ | 285 LBS I CLASS OF 2024 @ BEAUMONT UNITED | BEAUMONT, TX
Weston Davis Weston Davis 6'6" | 250 lbs | OL Beaumont United | 2024 State TX is a mauler of a high school offensive lineman. He pops off of the screen in his film due to a quick and effective kick-slide technique and violent hand punches. Davis plays the tackle position with a defensive lineman’s personality. Some believe that he will eventually transition inside to guard as the position of choice due to his quick feet and ability to move in space in comparison to pulling and kicking out at the second level. Look for this versatile lineman to have one heck of a senior campaign in 23-24.
Sleeper Riser of The List
Jalen Mickens Jalen Mickens 5'10" | 185 lbs | WR Willis | 2025 State TX I 5’10 188 LBS I 4.51 40 Laser I WILLIS HS I WILLIS, TEXAS
The Willis Wildkats “The Dub” is setting up for a major run at a District 13-6A title under the arm of Derek (DJ) Lagway Derek (DJ) Lagway 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Willis | 2024 State TX . That arm, though stellar, is nationally due in part to the sleeper targets that bring in the impact plays in timely situations. We’ve raved about the electric DeBraun Hampton DeBraun Hampton 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Willis | 2024 State TX (#8) but now we break down his partner in gridiron crime Jalen “Tank” Mickens. Mickens is a unique player because of his powerful build, vision, pad leverage, balance, and strong hands. The film displays a receiver possessing a running back’s frame and determination with a slot receiver’s route running, hands, and YAC ability. You won’t find a play where he lays down off of initial contact and his reception tools lean to him plucking the ball out of the air in contrast to body catching or allowing the ball to finish its designed course. Mickens projects to an all-purpose playmaker from the X, Z, backfield, and kick return. It should be noted that Mickens boast All-District and All-Montgomery County accolades on his resume in the same year. Look for this class of 2025 athlete to shoot up the rankings with production and notoriety in the upcoming season. Remember that you heard it here first. Don’t take my word for it; watch the tape and watch it on purpose with purpose.
