Continue ReadingPorter will be the most-watched 2024 offensive prospect in the SIAC this fall. Porter averaged 102.1 yards per game and had 13 TDs last fall. Porter posted over 100 yards five times last year. He protected the ball very well all season and did not cough it up once all year. All-conference player snub? I think so. His highlight tape was so impressive, I watched it twice! Every time I looked back up at the next play he was in the endzone or running someone over. I am most impressed with his field vision. He finds a hole and makes the defense pay for their mistakes. Porter is a hard-nosed running back with a strong lower body. There is no scenarios where you will find him dancing around behind the line of scrimmage. He is a North and South type of running back and is not afraid to run right through your defense. FJ Reitz has a experienced offensive line coming back this fall and Harlen Summers Harlen Summers 6’4″ | 230 lbs | OL FJ Reitz | 2024 State IN is the best out of the group. Harlen was named 1st Team All-Conference and IFCA 4A Junior All-State OL. Harlen currently holds multiple FCS offers including Penn, Columbia, Lindenwood, Butler, and Murray State. From what I’ve seen on film, there are more opportunities coming for this young man. Harlen has a great frame for an inside offensive lineman. He is looking to finish blocks and bury opposing players on every play. He is fun to watch when he pulls because Harlen is looking to lay out someone every time. Harlen is a bright young man with a bright future at the next level. Another prospect to keep an eye on at camps this summer.

There is another prospect with the last name Summers at FJ Reitz and yes they are brothers. While Harlen protects the QB, Hayden Summers Hayden Summers 6’2″ | 170 lbs | WR F.J. Reitz | 2024 State IN is breezing by the defense and finds himself in the endzone. Hayden was also named 1st Team All-Conference and IFCA 4A Junior All-State WR. He had 51 receptions and 883 yards receiving which led the conference. Hayden caught eight TDs on the season and was a ball hawk on defense bringing in 4 INTs and taking one of them to the house. This young man is a playmaker with a great catch radius. He shows grit and determination when he has the ball in his hands. His willingness to block and be aggressive on the perimeter will get the attention of college coaches. Look out for Hayden Summers Hayden Summers 6’2″ | 170 lbs | WR F.J. Reitz | 2024 State IN to make some insane catches this summer and this season.

Xander Hunt
Xander Hunt
Xander Hunt is an impressive player to watch this upcoming year. Xander was named the 2022 SIAC Conference Player of the Year and rightfully so, with his impressive play making abilities at quarterback. He threw for 1464 yards, 10 TDs, and 7 INTs. The most impressive trait for me was his ability to make plays using his feet. Xander rushed 155 times for 908 yards and averaged 90.8 yards on the ground. He had 13 rushing TDs and had 4 games over 100 yards rushing. Xander is explosive when he runs and is not afraid to run through a defender. He seems to have great success running the RPO. This young man is a great athlete and has a good chance of being the back-to-back SIAC Conference Player of the Year.
As I mentioned earlier, this FJ Reitz Panthers offensive line is the real deal in the SIAC. Quentin was named a captain of the FJ Reitz Panthers. Quentin currently holds FCS offers from Columbia and Lindenwood. Another offensive lineman with a great frame and plays with a great motor. I love the way Quentin fires off the ball and attacks his opponents. Pass protection is when Quentin shows off his excellent footwork. He does a great job picking up stunts and pressures in the passing game. Quentin shows great leadership on the field. He leads by example with his toughness and grit. Look out for Quentin Boeke Quentin Boeke 6’5″ | 265 lbs | OL FJ Reitz | 2024 State IN to be a top offensive lineman at a summer camp near you.
