Similar to a number of the districts we have covered already, Dulles has kids all over that have major potential. Part 3 of our 2024 Risers from the Dulles District below:
Gavin Sidhu
Gavin Sidhu
Sidhu returns under center for the Spartans looking build on the momentum that his new Head Coach is bringing over. A big nimble quarterback who can throw the deep ball and can throw on the run very accurately. Sidhu has the tools to be a major player in the Dulles District this year, having a tremendous running back in Aslin Shipe Aslin Shipe 5’8″ | 165 lbs | RB Broad Run | 2024 State VA behind him certainly helps. My bet is that this young man will create his own path for the 2023 season and will attract the attention of many Division 2 schools across the DMV.

Amani Koffi
Amani Koffi
The Patriots finished at 3-7 which in this conference is nothing to be frowned upon. A big area for improvement starts on the defensive side of the ball and having Koffi returning will sure help. A very physical in the box type of safety who can cover and rush the passer at a high level. Koffi seems to enjoy everytime he is sent on a blitz and his closing speed is very impressive. If the Patriots are going to make a jump in one of the toughest conferences in Virginia, it will start with players like him.

Alex Troy
Alex Troy
While the Patriots defense had their struggles their offense was on point for much of the season. One of their key weapons in Troy returns after hauling in 5 touchdown receptions and over 800 receiving yards. Love this kid competitive nature on every snap, he’s a tough slot receiver type who will go over the middle for you. Every 50/50 ball he wins you have to admire, Troy is fearless and should start to be on a number of colleges radars soon.

Austin Fisher
Austin Fisher
The second team all region linebacker/safety/receiver is back for the Rock Ridge Phoenix in 2023. No matter where he is lined up position wise, this kid makes plays! My bet is that at the division 2 level he will be a stout linebacker or possibly safety, but this year he will succeed on both sides of the ball. Fisher is excellent in coverage and is great at recognizing his assignments pre snap. What may have been the most fun to watch for myself on his film was the pride he takes as a blocking receiver. Do not get me wrong he has solid hands and can make plays, but the way he punishes defensive backs on his downfield blocks is a joy to view.
