This list covers some huge ground geographically, with prospects from the Green Bay area, all the way to the NW part of Minnesota with some long and speedy prospects from Alexandria and Fertile-Belltrami and everywhere in between it seems. With this list, we take a look at the double digit WR prospects that passed my eye test at the spring Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase with some prospects showing off some imposing first looks in a camp setting. Have a look at the nearly 2000 words it took to break them all down!
Danny King Danny King 6'4" | 235 lbs | TE Bloomington Jefferson | 2024 State MN , WR, Bloomington Jefferson (2024) Twitter
Danny showed off plenty of electric traits with his skillsets especially from what I watched from 1v1s in Maple Grove. He continued to show off that extremely consistent big catch-radius with massive hands, and showed off some acrobatic athleticism as a big 6’4 221 pound wide receiver that on one rep showed off his explosion jumping over a defensive back and still brought in the catch to his chest. Even when Danny dealt with some throws that were off line, he did a excellent job with his vision getting back to the ball in with great transitional instincts. Our WR MVP certainly showed me why he has a Division I football future in my eyes.
Isaiah Wright, WR, Fertile-Beltrami (2025) Twitter
Anytime you can pop-out on multiple occasions into my notepad like Fertile-Beltrami’s Isaiah Wright did on Saturday at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase, you are setting yourself up for a great football future with a WR room that is huge. When I zoomed in on Isaiah’s skillsets, despite not being the biggest WR out there, he enlightened me with his catch radius and significant vertical on his 1v1 reps. He also showed off a great football IQ in 1v1s showing superb awareness and put up some big time testing numbers, with a 4.58 40 yard dash, and a ton of explosion in the broad jump with a 9’6. His tape shows off reps at running back, and with his short-field agility, this WR prospect that was one of my top honorable mentions has some positon flexibility at the next-level coming out a strong 9-man program in Fertile-Belltrami.
Taye Manns Taye Manns 5'11" | 200 lbs | ATH Denfeld | 2025 State MN , WR, Duluth Denfeld (2025) Twitter
Taye was a prospect I recall sending him an invite to our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase and after my first look at this young man in the testing session, I would say it was well worth the trip for this 2025 WR out of Duluth Denfeld. The explosion he had when I watched his 9’10 broad jump up close in-person, showed why this young man has so much built in his durability when you turn on the tape. Taye is certainly a WR prospect you can depend on in high-traffic areas to use his athletic ability and he showed that persistent consistency at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase as well. He certainly a North Shore prospect I will be tracking over the next handful of years as a probable scholarship-level WR at the next level with tons of athletic skill with his route-running.
Langdon Nordgaard, WR, West De Pere (2024) Twitter
Making the long drive from the 920 area code was another impressive and long WR in Langdon Nordgaard out of West De Pere. For 6’4 205 pounds, Langdon blew me away with how twitchy he was in the short shuttle and was one of my picks for WR mentions when we gathered together for our MVPS at the end of the session. He has such an elusive change of direction in not just his lower body, but when I watched the speed he had when flip his hands over in 1v1s and Indy, he showed off plenty of agility from top to bottom with his body to get over the top of the secondary. I expect Langdon to be one to have a BIG summer camp season and an even bigger 2023 season as another scholarship-level WR on this list.
Evan Kludt Evan Kludt 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Alexandria | 2025 State MN , WR, Alexandria (2025) Twitter
Whatever water they have in the WR room up in Alexandria is the gift that keeps giving this time with 2025 WR Evan Kludt Evan Kludt 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Alexandria | 2025 State MN . The smooth traits he showed off at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase with his release painted a picture that showed off well in testing, and from what I caught in Indy and 1v1s, in which Evan used all of his 6’3 frame to get over the top of the secondary that showed off a crispy vertical and balanced football IQ with plenty of agility too. Evan also intrigued me with his instincts on Sunday, as he showed off reactive skillsets that allowed him to engage and make catches that WRs with a smaller frame would have a hard time getting to. His tape also shows off that instinct consistent as a corner, so college programs could certainly benefit from his versatility at the next-level.
Caleb Francois Caleb Francois 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Minnetonka | 2026 State MN , WR, Minnetonka (2026) Twitter
Caleb was a WR prospect I caught late in our 1v1s and was a 2026 prospect that certainly passed my eye test out of Minnetonka. His hands from what I caught in 1v1s were stuck like glue to the football and showed off some solid route-running ability for his age. Caleb is a WR prospect that does the little things on tape/1v1s that you might not see, but he’s certainly a team-player from what my eyes could gauge on Sunday afternoon. Good size already at 5’11 160 pounds that should develop stronger in the weight room in the coming years.
Mitchell Long Mitchell Long 5'11" | 180 lbs | WR Forest Lake | 2024 State MN , WR, Forest Lake (2024) Twitter
Mitchell was one of my honorable mentions for the WR group as is a Forest Lake WR that on numerous reps, continued to engage my attention from what he put up in Indy drills and 1v1s. I was intrigued with Mitchell’s awareness as a pass-catcher as he certainly looked in my eyes as a WR that from start to finish knew exactly what he was doing with his routes all the way to utilizing his speed after the catch. He’s not the biggest WR, but his wide hands and catch radius at 5’11 180 pounds certainly paint a next-level prospect in my eyes coming out of the Rangers 2024 class. He has some excellent route-efficiency that is only going to grow into the summer months with training at college prospect camps. High GPA prospect with a 3.5 GPA.
Adam Jordan Adam Jordan 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR St Francis | 2026 MN , WR, St. Francis (2026)
Adam was a WR prospect that although was one of the younger prospects in the WR group, showed off some solid skillsets from the reps I got to watch from the younger group on Sunday afternoon at the Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase. What he did well in my eyes was with his hands as he showed off some aggression with his hands you wouldn’t expect from his 5’11 155 pound frame. I overheard that on JV last season this young man had over 20+ touchdowns to his resume stats-wise and with a ton of Fighting Saints in the receiving core graduating, look for this kid to make an impact for St. Francis in 2023.
Karson LaCanne, WR, Windom (2024) Twitter
Karson was a SW Minnesota WR prospect that left a lasting impression with me on Sunday at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase. I liked how well-versed his route-creativity was from what I caught from Indy drills and he had the football IQ sense of what to do after the catch that caught the bulk of my attention on him on Sunday. Karson also did a solid job with his balance in his footwork, as he showed off some competitive bounce in his lower body that showed off some craft consistently around the edges, which is what you will see on tape from him as well. Another 2024 prospect on this list with some position versatility on both sides of the ball which college coaches like local SMSU should want to see in a camp setting this summer.
Kaaleem Reiland Kaaleem Reiland 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB Kingsland | 2026 State MN , WR, Kingsland (2026) Twitter
Each time I have gotten to watch Kaaleem in a camp setting over the last year, he continues to take his game up notches from before and that showed off at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase in Maple Grove this Sunday. He’ has developed a ton of more agility with his footwork on the break of his routes and is certainly showing why he’s one of Minnesota’s top swiss army knives in the 2026 class. He has such growing instincts with his vision after the catch and that was a skillset in my eyes just continues to grow for this kid, who has a ton of high school football left to prove. Kaaleem also has character that you expect out of senior, but he’s just wrapped up his freshmen year at Kingsland, which has to look great for his next-level suitors. I always love a prospect that will sign up for our showcase in a different position than they did in the past, which is just adding excellent versatility to Kaaleem’s football resume with three more years left in the Knights program.
Noah Schmit Noah Schmit 6'2" | 180 lbs | LB Zimmerman | 2026 State MN , WR, Zimmerman (2026) Twitter
Last but not least of the WRs on my list was Zimmerman WR Noah Schmit Noah Schmit 6'2" | 180 lbs | LB Zimmerman | 2026 State MN , who at 6’2 really showed off his length well in Indy drills at 6’2. I was impressed with the long length of Noah’s strides when I got to watch him in Indy and he showed a lot smoother “get upfield” instinct than you would expect from a WR prospect at his age. He also showed off some great character traits from our quick conversation. Noah’s tape is light at the moment, but once he presses his burst into the second level, there is a ton of electricity brewing as far as I can see with getting separation from this Sherburne County prospect.
