Prep Redzone Arkansas Showcase Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are only about five days away from the Prep Redzone Arkansas Showcase at Mills High School in Little Rock. The roster for this event is an impressive one to examine. We are going to look at several prospects that have the potential to open some eyes at this event this weekend. The state of Arkansas is well represented with the amount of talent for this event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149593' first='LJ' last='Robins']-Wide Receiver-Greenwood-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Greenwood wide receiver is a prospect that does a great job of using his route running and speed to create separation. Robins has good hands and has the ability to turn a short gain into an explosive in the blink of an eye. He had a strong 2022 football season, and he is just getting started this upcoming season. Robins has the opportunity to open plenty of eyes this upcoming weekend. I look for a big performance from Robins this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='401198' first='Kemp' last='Keller']-Quarterback-Little Rock Christian-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few months, Keller has had the opportunity to showcase his accurate arm in 7-on-7 competitions. Keller is not afraid to test opposing secondaries with the deep ball and he does an impressive job with his accuracy on the deep ball. He does a great job of fitting the ball into some tight windows. Keller has displayed the ability to escape the pocket when needed. He knows when to use his legs to pick up a first down and extend the drive. Keller is a player to watch out for this weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='498092' first='Tate' last='Spray']-Offensive Line-Centerpoint-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='498092' first='Tate' last='Spray'] has tremendous versatility along the offensive line. He has worked tremendously well at the center position over the past few seasons. Spray is an explosive prospect that fires out of the stance well. He is very effective at run blocking and has that speed and power mix cause plenty of problems for the opposing defensive line. I look for a strong performance from him at the Prep Redzone camp this weekend. <strong></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='594778' first='Slade' last='Norwood']-Quarterback-Farmington-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Farmington has an impressive string of quarterbacks coming down the pipeline. Norwood does a great job of throwing his wide receivers open. The talented Farmington quarterback is able to fit the ball into some tight windows. Norwood has tremendous pocket presence, and he knows when to use his legs to extend the play. Norwood is going to open some eyes this weekend. I expect a strong performance from the Farmington quarterback.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='568945' first='Cade' last='Clinkscales']-Defensive Back-Springdale Har-Ber-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Har-Ber defensive back does not shy away from contact. Clinkscales does a great job of tracking the ball while it is in the air. He has no trouble moving up to make the tackle on the ball carrier. Clinkscales is a physical defensive back that looks to separate the ball from the receiver. The Har-Ber defensive back is a workhorse and is always looking to improve and hone his craft. Clinkscales is a prospect to watch out for at the Prep Redzone Arkansas camp this weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='451363' first='Davian' last='Hall']-Defensive Back-Elkins-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='451363' first='Davian' last='Hall'] opened plenty of eyes to close out the 2022 football season, last season. Hall has good speed and has displayed the ability to cause plenty of problems for opposing wide receivers. Hall is another defensive back with the talent to play the safety or cornerback positions with equal effectiveness. The Elkins defensive back is a prospect to watch out for this weekend. I think he has a chance to open plenty of eyes this weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='806085' first='Evan' last='Shelby']-Linebacker-Fort Smith Southside-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='806085' first='Evan' last='Shelby'] had a strong 2022 football season and I look for him to have an even better 2023 season. Shelby racked up over 80 tackles last season for the Mavericks. He has displayed an impressive ability to get into the opposing offensive backfield and disrupt the running game. Shelby does a good job of defeating blocks. He uses his speed well to pursue the ball carrier and make plays on the ball. Shelby is a prospect that I expect to have a big camp this weekend at Mills High School</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
