Carson Campisi Carson Campisi 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Southeast Polk | 2024 State IA , OL, Southeast Polk, 2024 Twitter
- I love the aggressive first step Carson brings out on tape, as he shows a high level of physicality in his initial punch, and the great bounce in his footwork allows him to become a multi-engaged tackle that has some speed built in with his punch.
- Carson also moves well laterally from side to side and keeps a consistent pad-level throughout his reps on tape with plenty of size to go around at 6’4 300 pounds.
- Carson is an Iowa prospect I am very surprised doesn’t have an offer yet, however,I see a plethora of next-level suitors coming thru once they get Carson on campus this summer as I like the instinct this young man plays with for the next-level.
Charlie Cross Charlie Cross 6'0" | 185 lbs | TE Waukee | 2024 State IA , FB/TE, Waukee, 2024 Twitter
- As a pass-catcher, I like the speed of Charlie’s hands when they are turning inside to the football as he has reactive base with his positioning of his hands.
- If you want a FB/TE flexibility on your roster that can drive block downhill until that whistle blows, Charlie is certainly in my eyes worth a look this summer as the versatility this kid has with his hands with multiple skillsets is fun to watch.
- Charlie also has smoother short-speed than most TE/FBs don’t get credit for as a prospect that you can add plenty of frame and still keep that quick burst in the open.
Hunter Bowers Hunter Bowers 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR East Buchannan | 2024 State IA , WR, East Buchanan, 2024 Twitter
- Hunter shows off some great levels of versatility on his tape and it starts off with his high-topping ability as a pass-catcher that can get it done in high-traffic areas.
- He is certainly a wide receiver prospect that shows off loads of consistency on tape, as a wide receiver you can depend on to use his athleticism on a touch ball throw with his elusive vertical and balance.
- Hunter is a prospect that certainly has some positional flexibility at the next-level, as he shows off swiss army knife play-making ability on both sides of the ball with his hands and football IQ.
Tyge Lyon Tyge Lyon 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Pleasant Valley | 2024 State IA , RB, Pleasant Valley, 2024 Twitter
- Love the instinct Tyge brings the table for the running back position upon getting his hands on the football as he has a high level of agility of his first-cut to get to the edges as a north-south runner.
- The base from start to finish that Tyge runs within my eyes shows off effective game-speed that certainly amps up when Tyge gets into the open field.
- There is also a plethora of great vision in his game tapes, as although he has the excellent burst out of the first level, he keeps his vision consistent throughout his tape. He might be an undersized back, but one that plays with a high amount of electricity in his game that positions well at the next-level
Trent Patton Trent Patton 6'2" | 230 lbs | DL Glenwood | 2024 State IA , DL, Glenwood, 2024 Twitter
- Trent shows off a well-balanced motor that has the foot speed to maneuver quickly from one end of the box to the other with smooth mobility for 6’3 230 pounds.
- He also shows off a soft touch with his hands and can pull off at a quick pace with a solid first step in transition to the ball.
- Trent also shows a ton of length in his wingspan and can stretch his frame to get the ball carrier that would be out of reach for most undersized defensive linemen. Positions as a scholarship level defensive end in my eyes this summer.
