College coaches don’t attend schools where the talent is low. Here are some of their guys picking up attention.
Daedrion Garrett, SS, 2024
Garrett is a guy that has a lot of speed at strong safety. We all know what strong safeties have to do. They have to be able to help out on the run as well as cover big tight ends. Garrett is a guy that does not mind coming up to make big tackles. Garrett. He picked up an offer from Missouri State this week. Garrett is very aggressive. Coaches love to see that.
Dakaylen Reese, WR, 2024
Reese is as smooth as Michael Jackson’s first pair of dancing shoes. He also knows how to go up to get the football. This young man isn’t scared to give up his body when he goes across the middle. You can’t be considered a smooth receiver if you don’t know how to run good routes. Reese is a guy who can get open when he needs to. He also has been picking up some offers this week.
Taylor Tatum Taylor Tatum 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Longview | 2024 State TX , RB, 2024
Tatum needs no introduction to the nation. He is ranked as a top three RB in the nation. This young man has it all. He has the vision. Tatum is a speedster who can get up the field. He also possesses good lower body strength. Tatum is going to be a power five football player. It isn’t much about him that we don’t already know. Him and his teammates mesh together very well.
Chase Smith Chase Smith 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB Longview | 2024 State TX , 2024, DB
Smith is a very dangerous safety/nickel. I want to warn the quarterbacks out there. Don’t be playing around with this young man this year. It isn’t a safe thing to do. This man will knock a receiver’s block off. He also is stingy in the passing game. He received his second division one offer to Missouri State this week. At 5-10 190 he could possibly see some power five offers headed his way soon.
