We had coaches from all over Iowa and Nebraska come to evaluate and run our camp; it was a blast. Today I will show some of my favorite offensive players that I saw on Sunday.
QB Beaudree Ball Beaudree Ball 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Lincoln North Star | 2025 State NE Lincoln Northstar 2025
Beaudree really impressed me with his performance at the Prospect Tour. He really showed off his arm and passing skills. I don’t think I saw a pass that wasn’t on target from him. Not only was his accuracy on point but, he also had plenty of arm strength easily hitting his targets downfield. This led to him being awarded, top performer. During the testing, he had some great statistics. Ball ran a 5.13 40yd dash, a 4.66 shuttle drill, an 8’2″ broad jump, and a 7.65 L-Drill. Last season Beaudree played in 7 games. He completed 65 passes on 129 attempts for 699 passing yards averaging 99.9 yards per game and 3 touchdowns. I think he will continue to get even better and will have a great year this season and I can’t wait to see him on the field.
QB Chase Cunningham Chase Cunningham QB Papillion-La Vista South | 2025 State NE Papillion-LaVista South 2025
Chase was one I was told to watch and he did not disappoint. He has a sharpshooter canon of an arm. His pinpoint accuracy downfield, and great field awareness, and showed that he does have the skills to start this season. Here are his statistics from the drills: 5.32 40yd dash, a 4.44 shuttle, a 7’10” broad jump, and a 7.68 L-Drill. He has not played much yet but his skills show that he will dominate the gridiron coming up soon. Chase’s skills lead to him also winning top performer at the Prospect Tour
QB Cael Bruning Spencer, IA 2025
Cael is our first prospect from Iowa and he is also impressed. Our third top performer from this weekend as well. He really showed off his knowledge of the game showing his skills and ball placement. Cael’s stats from the Prospect Tour are also solid. A 5.47 40yd Dash, a 4.5 shuttle drill, an 8’7″ broad jump, and a 7.85 L-drill. I could not find his stats from last season but his Hudl shows how talented he is and how he really can lead his team on the field.
WR Mauriel Bradford Mauriel Bradford 5'11" | 160 lbs | WR Lincoln North Star | 2025 State NE Lincoln North-Star 2025
Another Top Performer from Lincoln, Mauriel Buford really showed off all of his skills. His route running was on point. He juked out defenders and had no problem catching the ball downfield. Not only was he receiving he was also on the other side of the field defending. Bradford did great with the drills, having a 4.75 40yd dash, a 4.5 shuttle drill, a 9’4″ broad jump, and a 7.6 L-Drill. Bradford is going to do great next season and will be a weapon for LNS’s offense and defense.
RB Kyle Peterson Kyle Peterson 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB Raymond Central | 2024 State NE Raymond-Central 2024
Peterson is fast an absolute rocket. Not only does he has the speed he also has awareness. When running routes he knew where the defender was and got the separation on him to get the ball. He also did great during the RB Drills along with the whole RB group. Kyle’s workout stats was also solid: 4.94 40yd Dash, 4.68 shuttle drill, 8’8″ 1/2 broad jump, and a 7.5 L-Drill. Kyle has played a lot in his career at Raymond-Central. He has played in 22 games having 194 carries and 1,151 rushing yards. 903 of those yards were last season. He averaged about 100 yards per game last season as well. Kyle also has scored 10 total rushing touchdowns. On defense, he has had 46 tackles having a career average of 2.1 tackles per game. Kyle will have no issues matching his performance from last season, I fully expect him to exceed it.
RB Charlie Gewinner Charlie Gewinner 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Bellevue West | 2024 State NE Bellevue West 2024
Charlie was another top performer on the prospect tour as well. He showed off not only his fundamental skills with the drills but also left defenders in the dust. Not only is he fast but he got separation. Gewinner also made plenty of jukes and moves as he followed his routes like they were painted on the turf. Gewinner ran a 4.49 40yd dash, a 4.18 shuttle drill, a 9’9″ broad jump, and a 6.94 L-Drill. Charlie hasn’t played in a ton of varsity however on 5 total games he has had 19 carries for 137 yards and a touchdown. along with this, he has had 5 tackles in total in 4 games where he played on defense.
