Each prospect displayed potential at the varsity level on tape and I think they could be in line to take a big step forward this fall. I will most certainly be waiting on their 2023 highlight films.

LB: Drake Mosley, 6’2″ 210, O’Fallon, 2025
Tremendous spacial awareness to go with elite tracking ability. Mosley plays a downhill brand of football, has the lateral movement skills to slip 2nd level blocks, and can stun ball carriers in their tracks between the tackles. He’s even got experience putting his hand in the dirt and working as a true five-technique in a four-down scheme.
DE: Landon Lauter, 6’5″ 240, Glenbrook North, 2024
Lauter is quick off the snap, plays with a low pad level, and has a mean bullrush. He gives up no ground in the run game and uses his extensive wing span to get his hands up if he can’t get to the quarterback. He’s got a projectable frame and could kick down inside at the next level.
DB: Elijah Romeus Elijah Romeus 6'0" | 190 lbs | DB Fenwick | 2024 State IL 6′ 185, Fenwick, 2024
A tough, hard-nosed blue-collar defensive back that isn’t afraid to stick his nose in there in the run game. Romeus closes ground in a hurry, can come to balance & tackle in space, and can make an impact as a kick returner. This is a physical strong safety prospect that could be a core four special teamer as well.
OL: Gustavo Guzman, 6’7″ 290, Oswego, 2024
A raw offensive tackle prospect that has a very high ceiling. Guzman is a swift mover, with great balance, and can bend at the knees, hips, and ankles. He shows solid feet in pass pro, grappling hooks for hands, and easy lateral redirection skills.
OLB: Carson Cooney, 6’3″ 205, Oswego, 2025
A longer linebacker prospect that plays with a ton of aggression and has terrific speed. Carson is a gifted block shedder at the point of attack and keeps his shoulders square to the line while scraping on the backside of runs. He’s got some disruptive tendencies as a run-stopper and plays with supreme confidence.
CB: Jeremiah Cain, 6’2″ 160, Oswego, 2025
A tall cornerback prospect with the ability to overlap in zone coverage and has natural deep ball tracking ability. He shows plenty of recovering speed and loose hips. Cain plays fearless, he isn’t afraid to take calculated chances and has no issues getting off perimeter blocks.
