Josh Pacheco | McDonald County |
A real hidden gem on the Western side of the state in Anderson (MO) McDonald County is the athletic receiver Pacheco who really surprised me with his performance. Josh has great size at 6’3″ 185 and tested very well showing good speed and athleticism in hitting 10-feet in the broad jump and 31″ in the vertical jump. He also displayed good hands and route running ability in one on ones making some nice catches against some talented DBs. Colleges need to bring him into camp and take a good look at him in person.
Chase Sucharski | Hillsboro |
I’ve had a chance to watch Chase over the last few years and see the work he has put in both as a receiver and with his physical development. He is impressive both physically and with his receiving skills. He’s quick, shows a nice burst of speed, gets open, uses his strength and body well to position himself against DBs and just makes nice grabs at WR. He looks college ready at 6’1″ 186 and tested well in the forty, had a 4.4 pro agility and 30″ vertical jump. His skill set also includes being a very good blocker on the field and very good hands. He’s another one who will make colleges happy when they see him in person.

Another surprise on the day was the speedy Steward, who is a slash type player who can play receiver, running back or quarterback heading into his senior season. He is a WR/RB type who I think is a nice slot receiver prospect on the next level. Jared tested very well with a 4.6 laser forty and a 30″ vertical jump. At this point Jared is a bit of a sleeper who plays on a team loaded with talent. It’s clear though that he has the ability to play on the next level based on his combine performance.
Daqual Wright | Battle |
I saw Daqual during the 2022 season and was impressed with his play. He brought the same skills and athleticism to the combine and tested well overall and stood out in drills and in one on ones. Wright has good speed but his quickness and athleticism, along with his hands and ability to layout and make badly thrown balls and tough catches stands out with him He’s a dual sport athlete who plays basketball and he brings his athleticm and hands from that sport to translate well to the football field. He has a nice ceiling and his best football is ahead of him.
OTHERS WHO STOOD OUT
- Da’Shaun Anderson Marquette – A straight up worker who continues to elevate his game and work on his skills. Runs crisp routes, good speed and reliable hands.
- Ivan Marin Liberty – Had a really nice day testing with a 4.7 forty, 4.2 pro agility and 33″ vertical jump. Good athlete who surprised me.
- Amyas Edwards Festus – Talented athlete who looks ready for a good senior season and had a 32″ vertical jump at the combine.
- Dawson Mizell Platte County – Another senior-to-be with a nice day of testing running a 4.7 forty and 4.3 pro agility.
