The five players mentioned in this article have all garnered a ton of attention throughout the years and will be looking to leave their mark during their senior season. This list of athletes ranges from D1 locks to under-the-radar DIII guys, and I’m excited to talk about these guys!
Seth Anstead Seth Anstead 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Chelsea | 2024 State MI | Chelsea | Hudl
Ever since I first watched Seth’s Junior season tape, I’ve loved him as a prospect. His tape is three minutes of straight-up dominance and offers a variety of different techniques used. Seth is quite agile for his size and is able to get to the second level or pull in order to delete players. In the run game, he can do whatever you ask of him in a dominant fashion. He latches onto players and moves just about anyone with ease. I totally agree with the MAC evaluation, which seems to be the consensus on him. If Seth were to walk on in the BIG 10 or another P5, I think he’d have a great shot there too.
Ryan Ross Ryan Ross 6'3" | 310 lbs | OL De La Salle Collegiate | 2024 State MI | De La Salle | Hudl
Ryan has been a consistent performer over the years. From West Bloomfield to De La Salle, Ryan has performed very well against great competition. Run and pass block technique is like riding a bike for Ryan, and he’s overall a super natural player. I personally see Ryan as a high-end Division II prospect, and I hope to see more offers come his way very soon!
William Woodard William Woodard 6'0" | 295 lbs | OL Roseville | 2024 State MI | Roseville | Hudl
Every time I’ve seen Woodard compete, he’s been very impressive! If this kid were 6’5″, he’d be a D1 prospect. Woodard is a great center and has flat-out great fundamentals. He has great leverage, love his hands, and he’s a nice guy. I’d love to see a DIII take a chance on Woodard because I truly think he can produce at the next level!
Jaylen Washington Jaylen Washington 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Cass Tech | 2024 State MI | Cass Tech | Hudl
Jaylen is a consistent producer against great competition, playing for one of the most decorated programs in the Midwest. He has great size for an IOL, and moves pretty well. He’s able to run pulls, power blocks, zone, and pretty much whatever you need, he’s got some experience. I see Jaylen as a Division II prospect based on his tape alone, and I’m confident he’ll earn an opportunity to play at the next level soon.
Alexander Walton Alexander Walton 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI | West Bloomfield | Hudl
Walton is a player that I’m just now looking into, and overall, I like what I’m seeing! I see a ton of solid highlights against good players that I am familiar with, especially when it comes to pass blocking. With run blocking, I have some agility and concerns about holding onto blocks, but he’s still solid in the run game. If Alexander Walton Alexander Walton 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI wishes to play at the next level, I can easily see some great DIII or maybe DII opportunities coming his way.
