Ambrose is a ball-hawk. He is an aggressive corner who isn’t afraid to be physical. He reads quarterbacks very well and anticipates routes a lot better than other corners. His speed helps him keep up with opposing wide receivers. He is great at wrapping up ball carriers in the open field as well. He’s going to have a huge senior year.
Highlights
Kai is relentless on the field and I love watching his highlights. He has great speed, being able to chase ball carriers from behind and catch them. His anticipation is impressive as he plays extremely patient. He reacts fast and is able to use his long wingspan to help deflect passes coming his way. I’m beyond excited to see how much his game has grown when the season gets going.
Highlights
Nat is one of the most slept on prospects in the entire state. He has great vision, reading the quarterback very well before the ball comes out of his hands. He is an extremely good tackler, using amazing technique. He delivers big time hits on opposing players, which is impressive for his 5’10” 175 pound frame.
Sunny is just a sophomore but he has all the qualities to be a big time defensive back. He only allowed 4 passes last season while compiling 5 picks and 8 passes deflected. His speed to the ball is impressive, being able to close the gap quickly. His ball recognition is also fantastic. His IQ on the field is very high for a player of his class as well. I have noticed his open-field tackling improved a lot as the weeks go on last season, I’m excited to see even more growth this year.
