Darius Wallace – ATH – Peachtree Ridge
Looking for an under the radar linebacker in Gwinnett County? Peachtree Ridge’s Darius Wallace might be your guy. A hard-hitting linebacker with some versatility who can play inside or outside, Wallace shows good instincts against the run and knows how to really strike the ball-carrier and drive them backwards. He does a good job of sneaking into the backfield and showed he’s a secure tackler. He can absolutely play at the next level, and offers are starting to come his way, earning an offer this week from Air Force. He has plenty of size at 6-foot-3 215-pounds and knows how to fight off blocks and shut down running lanes. He consistently flashed for Peachtree Ridge last year, making 81 total tackles, 17 TFLs, 7.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. He brings a lot to the table, and this likely won’t be the last offer to come his way.
Christian Garrett – DL – Prince Avenue Christian
A quick interior defensive lineman out of Athens at Prince Avenue Christian, Garrett has been flying under the radar for way too long, and this week he earned an impressive SEC offer from Vanderbilt. An easy standout and top performer from last month’s MVP Camp at Milton High School, Garrett has a lean frame who shows plenty of quickness both off the ball, and with his hands. He can shed blocks with ease and he’s coming off a big junior season for the Wolverines where he made 53 tackles, three sacks and five TFLs. He has easy D1 size at 6-foot-4 285-pounds with a 83-inch wingspan. His best football is still ahead of him and he’s bound for a gigantic senior season later this fall. He’s not flying under the radar much anymore, and he could see plenty of other D1 offers come his way over the next several months.
Kyle Vaka Kyle Vaka 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Kell | 2024 State GA – WR – Kell
It’;s about time the offers started coming in for the Kell wide receiver. After an excellent career early on at Johns Creek, Vaka proved he has the ability to play at the next level, and he recently added a new offer from Dartmouth. At 6-foot-1 180-pounds, Vaka is a smooth route-runner has enough size to make plays over smaller defenders while bringing plenty of speed as well. He’s a down-field threat a smooth route-runner who knows how to get open. He’s also a threat to take off for big yards after the catch. Last year for Johns Creek, the junior had a productive season, catching 36 passes for 706 yards and five touchdowns. Playing in a dynamic offense with an experienced quarterback, look for Vaka’s numbers to increase even more as a senior next fall. He also holds offers from Louisville and Western Kentucky, with more likely on the way.
Ryan Ghea Ryan Ghea 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Milton | 2025 State GA – TE – Milton
One of the top overall tight end prospects in Georgia regardless of class, Ghea is a promising D1 prospect who continues to add offers almost daily. The talented sophomore is physical in the run game, but do to his big 6-foot-5 230-pound frame, he’s also a major weapon as a pass-catcher who can use his size to make tough catches over smaller defenders. The four-star prospect can also be a reliable red-zone option next year as a junior. He already has a long list of impressive offers, and he recently added two more offers from Miami and Texas. Look for the big tight end to continue his dominant ways as a run blocker while seeing more passes come his way as a junior next fall. The Eagles have enough talent to make a 7A state championship run, and if they do, Ghea will be a big reason why.
