This list of prospects comes from two US states, and one Canadian province that has a huge plate of talent coming out of it. Lets kick into the WR Session Part 1.
Tavin Parani, WR, Recruit Ready/Oak Park (MB) (2026) Twitter
Tavin was a “first look” prospect for me on Recruit Ready’s JV squad that showed some intriguing upside. Tavin stuck out to me with his route-running on Sunday, as I thought this young man despite not being the biggest WR, played with some aggression against bigger secondaries and still found a handful of ways to show off his solid work ethic to get open on those routes. This was mostly seen on his short and intermediate routes as this young man had a clutch gene as a “go to” WR when Recruit Ready got deep down their opponent’s field. Watching some tape from Tavin, shows me that physicality shows consistent on tape, as he does the same thing with his versatility on the other side of the football. Tavin is one to watch blossom out of Winnipeg, that still has some growth left yet to be seen with his development and measureables.
Dante Sciorrotta Dante Sciorrotta 5'9" | 150 lbs | WR West Des Moines Valley | 2025 State IA , WR, Apex Air 7v7/West Des Moines Valley (IA) (2025) Twitter
Dante was a under the radar WR prospect that showed off some smooth athletic traits this weekend at Back 2 Ballin at the UNI Dome. I like watching Dante due to his use of his speed and agility, as he was a prospect that played with another gear when the ball was in his hands and he knew the play was his to make for the taking. Dante also plays with a great base of stamina when hitting his route on the second level as he kicks into burner mode once he reaches that level of the football field which also translates to his agility with his footwork. I also like the seperation Dante showed this weekend off the first cut as he has a long base with his cut level even at 5’9 150 pounds.
Tytan Tryon Tytan Tryon 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Harrisburg | 2024 State SD , WR, Sioux Falls Sharks/Harrisburg (SD) (2024) Twitter
Probably one of the biggest stockrisers in South Dakota’s 2024 class this weekend was WR Tytan Tryon Tytan Tryon 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Harrisburg | 2024 State SD of Harrisburg. If you love wide receivers that play way bigger than their measurables show off, Tytan is what you are looking for college coaches, as Tytan plays more like a 6’3 WR than 6’1 due to how strong his hands are in contested-ball situations, as Tytan out-muscled several defensive backs this weekend with his solid vertical and length in his wingspan as well. Tytan is a WR that plays with a chip on his shoulder based on his demeanor as I love this kid’s focus he shows off on the field. With offers from around the NSIC, I would expect Tytan to likely turn the corner and get more scholarship-level attention with summer prospect camps coming up soon.
Dayton Harrell Dayton Harrell 5'9" | 165 lbs | DB Sioux City North | 2024 State IA , WR/DB, South Dakota Elite/Sioux City North (IA) (2024) Twitter
A big Iowa stockriser this Spring is Sioux City North swiss-army knife Dayton Harrell Dayton Harrell 5'9" | 165 lbs | DB Sioux City North | 2024 State IA . Dayton won MVP at the Seneca Wallace Camp recently, but what he did this weekend was show off his versatility on the offensive side of the ball. Dayton showed off some clutching hands and his excellent starting speed once the ball hits his hands has a high level of electricity to become a burner WR at the next level. Dayton has some instinctive skillsets that translate well on both sides of the ball with all the positional flexibility this young man in his plethora. My ideal fit translates well with Dayton as a slot WR as I believe his quick working hands and short field burst allow him to danger the secondary in the open field, as I don’t even think some his tape does the justice of how fast this kid really is. Dayton will be a prospect college coaches will know by the end of the summer.
Elijah Barrett, WR, Recruit Ready/Dakota Collegiate (MB) (2025)
I have had the luxury to watch Elijah twice this month and I am convinced his skillsets got better in that short span of time. We obviously are well-aware of his electric speed to start his route he has, but the elusive hips he shows when making his cut with his agility is just as significant to his game, as with that blended burst and agility, can cause a secondary fits in the open field when he meets them in the open field, as Elijah showed off plenty of shake in his feet on a couple reps I got to watch from the weekend. This may be repetitive from last time, but it’s worth noting that Elijah has some of the best hands Canada has to offer and if you put it all together, you can bet I believe this young man has impressive college football future.
Dominic Kalacinski Dominic Kalacinski 6'4" | 180 lbs | ATH Sunshine Bible Academy | 2025 State SD , WR, South Dakota Elite/Canton (SD) 2025) Twitter
Dominic has made some great strides in his skillsets from when I got to scout him live in December. One thing that shows clear since that time is that Dominic has put a focus in growing his catch radius to a smoother athletic form in his lengthy 6’4 frame, that just make the move over to Canton from Harrisburg. Dominic has also developed smoother with his footwork and agility especially on short-yardage plays as he’s grown a faster burst in the last 4-5 months. College coaches will have fun over in Canton, South Dakota over the coming years as they are blessed with length in 6’4 Dominic Kalacinski Dominic Kalacinski 6'4" | 180 lbs | ATH Sunshine Bible Academy | 2025 State SD and 6’6 Matthew Anderson Matthew Anderson 6'5" | 190 lbs | ATH Canton | 2024 State SD in the x and y receiver spots.
