We saw teams all weekend from as far north as Winnipeg, all the way down to the Chicagoland, which is why I love covering 7v7 to utilize my Midwest lenses as to who is balling out and it shows off whose skillsets are stockrising upwards this spring before we get into summer prospect camps. We start with our QB session in Part 1, as we take shape some of the best QBs from the weekend to start from Wisconsin and Minnesota. I will certainly have a plethora of more QB prospects to come over the coming week or more, as there was so much talent to talk about this weekend in Iowa.
Dylan Blount Dylan Blount 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB St Clair | 2024 MN , QB, Minnesota Go Get It/St. Clair (MN) 2024 Twitter
If I had to dish out a QB MVP for the duration of Saturday and Sunday at Back 2 Ballin at the UNI Dome, my vote would be for Minnesota Go Get It’s Dylan Blount Dylan Blount 6'1" | 180 lbs | QB St Clair | 2024 MN . The vast development I have seen from this young man in the last few months with his precision, progressions, and his throws showed excellent efficiency on all three levels of the field. He also showed off the poise in the pocket you need from the QB position at the next level. Dylan also impressed me with his arm strength and did a great job fitting the ball with the proper strength all weekend from what I watched. Dylan might be a small town HS football QB, but he showed off how much he was in tune on the big stage this weekend at Back 2 Ballin.
Gaven Dean Gaven Dean 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB Lakeville South | 2025 State MN , QB, GameFace/Lakeville South (MN) 2025 Twitter
Gaven was a prospect that was a standout in my eyes last year, and continued the growth of the skillsets that intrigued me in year two. What has significantly developed for Gaven is how much poise in the pocket he’s grown from his freshmen to sophomore year, as this young man elevated that skillset to a new level as an incoming sophomore for the Cougars. He’s also grown with his game-speed since I evaluated him last year as he has a fluid quick release as has grown with his speed of his progressions as well. It looks to me we will see another Dean in the family playing QB at the next-level in my eyes.
Patrick Greisen, QB, TopLine/West De Pere (WI) 2026 Twitter
Patrick was by far my favorite 2026 QB prospect I got to watch this weekend at Back 2 Ballin. He certainly passes the eye test for the quarterback position as already 6’2 180 pounds. Even at a young age, Patrick shows off a ton of poise and football IQ already in his plethora and that showed off from all the reps I watched all weekend inside the UNI Dome. Patrick showed off an excellent touch ball on all three levels of the field and had one of the quickest releases from QBs I saw this weekend in Iowa. It might be early to call for some, but I would be remiss if I didn’t believe that Patrick looks like a Division I fit and he’s only going to continue to develop with a thriving West De Pere Phantoms squad.
Wade Lindahl Wade Lindahl 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Lourdes Academy | 2025 State WI , QB, TopLine/Oshkosh Lourdes (WI) (2025) Twitter
Wade was another intriguing prospect from TopLine that impressed me this weekend at Back 2 Ballin. Wade showed off well-balanced arm that you can tell has a gift with how well groomed his quarterback mechanics are, as Wade showed off plenty of efficent skillsets that passed this scout’s eye test this weekend. Another skillset Wade had was grit, as he was not afraid to test his arm to use his precision into some heavier coverage areas, as the consistency this young man showed this weekend show why he’s one of Wisconsin’s best QBs in the 2025 class. Wade is certainly another one with scholarship-level football in his future on Saturdays, and has the character you want on your roster as well.
Manu Enriquez Manu Enriquez 5'11" | 170 lbs | ATH East Ridge | 2025 MN , QB, MN Go Get It/East Ridge (MN) (2025) Twitter
I didn’t get a chance to catch Manu for his photo, however the 2025 QB prospect from East Ridge showed off some growing skillsets from what these eyes could catch. I liked Manu’s rhythm he showed while he went thru his progressions, as he showed that off full-circle especially on his deeper and intermediate routes. Manu also showed some sizable touch with his throws that I watched and had the precision to hang the ball right into the bread-basket of his WRs. He’s raw on his sophomore tape, but from what I caught this Spring Manu looks liked a stockriser in the 2025 class out of the East Metro.
Reece Kamrath Reece Kamrath 5'11" | 160 lbs | QB Watertown | 2024 State WI , QB, The Show/Watertown (WI) (2024) Twitter
Reece looked a verified Madden video game on Saturday night at the UNI Dome. He showed off some of the best deep ball precision I got to watch all weekend at Back 2 Ballin. He showed off some quick instincts thru his progressions and put the ball right in the bucket as Reece was key to The Show putting up 50+ points in back to back showings on Saturday night. Reece also showed some of the best arm strength from a lefty I have evaluated over the last several months. I also liked Reece elusive skillsets this weekend as well, as he shows off great balance throwing from the run when he needs to buy time. 19 touchdowns in three games is certainly no joke. Reece is certainly a QB prospect that I expect will heat up with summer camp season coming right up around the corner.
