Continue ReadingThe 2026 class will be seeing their first official rankings from Rivals, On3 and 247 this fall. This article will cover some of the guys I think will be on the list. These are all predictions and guesses.
Omari Johnson, WR, Wesson
Johnson has been receiving a lot of love as of late. He recently received an offer from Florida State. Johnson is going to be one of the top ranked receivers in the nation. There aren’t a lot of players putting up numbers like he has been. He also was a varsity starter doing numbers as an eighth grader. Johnson is also becoming a better route runner. His speed is immaculate. One day I’ll be able to tell the story about how him and I met. He has also became a better route runner since I met him. Johnson is that guy.
Braeden Gregory Braeden Gregory 5'8" | 160 lbs | ATH Magee | 2026 State MS , ATH, Magee
Gregory is a well-known across the nation. He is a guy that isn’t new to traveling across the world to make things happen. Gregory is going to see his recruiting process pick up soon. His speed is amazing. He is one of the fastest prospects in his class. Gregory has shown that he can be an asset at receiver or running back. His soft hands make him very valuable as a receiver out of the backfield. Gregory is going to be a power five player on the next level. I think he can find himself in a top 100 2026 ranking this fall.
Dereon Albert Dereon Albert 6'3" | 255 lbs | DL Jackson Academy | 2026 State MS , DL, Jackson Academy
Albert is another player that has already made a name for himself across the nation. Albert has recently started to pick up some offers. That is a great thing for him. This young man has a lot of talent. His size is very impressive as well. Albert is getting taller everyday. He is going to be a power five player on the next level. With the skills he has, I can see him being a guy that gets early playing time when he gets to college.
Grant Kitchens Grant Kitchens 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Nanih Waiya | 2026 State MS , OL, Nanih Waiya
Kitchens is a big boy that the nation needs to become familiar with. He is one of the best offensive lineman prospects in the nation. He is 6-6 296 pound prospect that delivers the blows. Kitchens is a power five guy that a lot of quarterbacks would love to have them protecting them. He doesn’t have any offers yet, but this kid is the truth.
Landon Duckworth, QB, Jackson (Ala.)
Duckworth has been putting on a show even during basketball season. He also has been working very hard to improve his game at quarterback. Duckworth should be one of the top ranked quarterbacks in the nation for this class. He is a true dual threat who does his thing on the field. He is tall quarterback that has speed and size. A lot of college coaches are after this young man.
