He can bust any play open. He is a speedster who knows how to get his space. Sterling also is a special teams guy. He can take back kick returns at any given time. Sterling also runs decent routes. He is a guy that knows how to separate from defensive backs. Keep your eyes on this kid.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Matthew Daniels, WR/DB, Ozona</strong> </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Daniels is a rowdy player. He likes to get physical with his opponents. Daniels is tough, and he doesn't mind making tackles on defense. He finds a way to get open when his quarterback is in trouble. Daniels needs to work on his release from the line. He has decent speed, but his footwork could be better on his release.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Adam Barela, RB/LB, Crosbyton</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Barela is a bowling ball when he is at running back. He isn't the easiest guy to bring to the ground. Barela has a lot of lower body strength. He also is a major force on defense. He isn't the tallest guy on the field, but he plays with a lot of heart. Barela loves to make plays. I love watching him take those long strides when he gets going. This young man is going to be a very good player on the next level. He plays the game with a lot of heart and tenacity. I think he will be a linebacker on the next level. If he can use those offensive skills at outside linebacker, he will be a great player. He has good hands as well.
