Christopher Riley
Christopher Riley
Christopher Riley was an athlete who could play nearly any role on the field with great success. Now Riley is by all technicalities a QB but if the need comes he is more than able to play as a running back. He has the Lamar Jackson qualities to him that make him an explosive individual. This past season Riley rushed and passed for over 1,000 yards each. Every carry of his was extremely productive as he averaged over 10 yards per carry on the ground with 7 TDs to his name. This is an athlete who can make things happen. His value as a prospect is quite high due to his dual threat capability. It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for Riley.
Brady Sullivan
Brady Sullivan
Sullivan has the qualities that coaches are looking for in a typical running back. He has the ability to hit the gaps with speed and intensity and break tackles as he takes it to the house. Another notable feature about Brady is his speed. Once in the open field Brady has shown incredible top speed as he races towards the endzone with defenders trailing far behind. Due to his great performances Brady averaged over 90 yards per game and collected 10 TDs on his way to hitting the 1K mark. I am confident that Sullivan can be productive as a running back at the next level.
Darius Dampier is currently committed to Southwest Mississippi Community College as a baseball recruit but his performances as a football player deserve recognition as well. Darius helped the Mendenhall Tigers achieve a stunning 13-2 record and a title of runner up State Champions. Overall his 1K yard season was a big part of why the Tigers could compete as well as they did on offense. Dampier ran for over 6 yards per carry showing his efficiency and power. If he so choose to Darius could very well be successful with a football career as well.
Amarien Jefferson
Amarien Jefferson
Amarien was one of the main playmakers for Parklane Academy. Jefferson Led the Pioneers to a successful season both by his passing and rushing abilities. This dual threat athlete primarily served as a QB but his ability as a ball carrier was quite impressive. This season Amarien put up over 1,000 yards for 14 TDs. His 9.4 yards per carry were due to his elusiveness with the ball in his hands. His skill set would be very fitting for various programs looking to add a versatile playmaker to the roster. This next fall Jefferson will be joining the SMCC Bears with intentions to make an impact.
Eli Smith
Eli Smith
Eli Smith proved to be an electric back with immense skill. Eli had a tremendous season averaging over 160 yards per game on the ground. Furthermore, in only Smith found the endzone 12 separate times showing his ability to make big plays. This kid has what it takes to compete at a high level every weekend. As he reached the 1,000 rushing mark Eli broke several records and helped his team reach an 8-3 record. This Athlete can certainly find success in the backfield at the next level. It will be interesting to see what comes next in his career.
