Who are some of the top players in the State of Idaho? Find out here with part 1 of our way to early players of the year in the 4A ranks:
Bair might be hard to top this season as he is not only one of the top players in the 4A ranks but is currently ranked as the number one prospect in the state of Idaho by many scouting agencies. Bair has it all when it comes to being a complete prospect with 20+ offers from Division I colleges. The now senior racked up 73 catches for 1,073 yards and 18 TDs last season with his unique blend of speed and size. One of the fastest athletes in the entire state just go watch him run on the track. Bair has the ability to really take plays to the house every time he touches the football. His catch radius is huge with the ability to catch the football anywhere remotely thrown near him. Soft hands that strongly pluck the football out of the air and a 50/50 ball monster on the edge. Where he is progressing is in his route running where he is developing his tools. Bair should be the next one up for Player of the Year and should have a monster senior year.

Minnaert is an absolute star for Bishop Kelly where the now senior destroyed opposing teams on the ground to the tune of 209 carries for 1477 yards to go along with 27 touchdowns. Using a blend of size and balance the running back is hard to take down on first contact. He uses elite vision in order to set up blockers and find lanes in the defense. Shows good straight line speed with the ability to be dynamic in the kicking game along with in the backfield. Has enough wiggle in his game to make defenders miss in the hole and break off big runs. Where he is different than many of the other running backs we have seen on film is his patience to burst. He will follow his pullers or blockers with extreme patience but as soon as everything is set up Minnaert burst through the line for big plays. This should be a huge season for the senior running back and he should challenge in every statistical category.

Willis is the top returning quarterback in the 4A ranks throwing for 2293 yards to go with 29 touchdowns with only 6 interceptions. Willis has the ability to really rack up the yards through the air this year with his arm strength and ability to throw off platform. Willis can make every single throw on the field and is improving in his accuracy. You can see on film that he really can get a lot of RPMs on the football but shows the ability to layer his throws all over the field. Really has a good feel in the pocket for when to set up or uses his legs to escape. A plus athletes that shows the ability to make plays with his legs even if he is not described as a runner. Has a unique feel on avoiding the rush with his ability to pump fake, extended plays and change arm angles. Willis is going to have a monster year, dont be surprised by this talented senior.

Crum is another top quarterback returning in the 4A ranks throwing for 1685 yards with 15 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions. The big time lefty shows a really ability to throw on the run with accuracy. Crum posses a really compact throwing motion that is not typical for lefties as he can really get the ball out quickly. Has a balance in the pocket with clean footwork that shows why he is able to really put the football on his receivers. Crum has the ability to layer his throws and has very good touch down the field. Throws one of the most catchable footballs we have seen on tape. He can change arm angles which helps him excel in the RPO game. Crum should really be able to build off his strong junior season and will be a player to watch moving forward.
