Gubler plays the Guard position along the Warrior’s offensive line. As a run blocker he shows good explosion off the ball showing good strength, leg drive, and bring his feet to drive defenders at the LOS. Good in blocking ability to trap block and cut off linebackers at the 2nd level. Sets base, gives initial contact, and sustains balance in pass protection. Gubler will look to have another All State season as he helps anchor that offensive line up against some of the best in the 4A Class.
Daven Peterson: DL,OL || 5’11 || 240lbs || Cottonwood HS || c/o 2025
Peterson plays along the interior in the Colt’s defensive front. He’s a tough physical player that shows good strength at the POA to control blocks at the LOS. Shows good lateral pursuit to move along the LOS. The Colts will need his physicality and experience on defense to help stop some of the best offenses that the 4A Class has to offer.
Connor Melchior: OL || 6’1 || 270lbs || Jordan HS || c/o 2025
Melchior is the Beetdiggers starting Left Guard along their offensive line. A tough physical player with good movement off the ball. Shows good explosion off the ball with good leg drive to get defenders off the ball as a run blocker . Sets base and sustains feet in pass protection. Look for Melchior to help lead this offensive line and become one of the top interior linemen in the 4A Class.
Issac Finau: OL,NG || 6’1 || 300lbs || Stansbury HS || c/o 2025
Finau’s wide massive frame fits perfect as the Stallions starting Center on the offensive line. A physical player that uses his strength and leg drive to explode off the ball as a run blocker. Sets base and sustains feet in pass protection. Finau will look to anchor the Stallions offensive line again and with good playing experience under his belt he should look to be one of the top interior lineman in the 4A Class next season.
Nisi Vaka: NG,OL || 6’0 || 350lbs || Stansbury HS || c/o 2024
Vaka wide body frame allows him to a physical Nose Guard and the 5 tech in the Stallions defensive line. Has a powerful get off and has the hold double teams. Good strength at the POA to control and shed blocks at the LOS. Look for Vaka to cause trouble in the trenches when opposing teams try to run the ball.
