Josh Harrison – ATH, 6’3″ 225 (Previously unranked, No. 4 ATH, No. 30 Overall), Christ School. Josh plays on both sides of the ball for his team. He finished the season with 58 total tackles, 14 which were for losses. He had 35 solo tackles during the season. Josh is one of the standout linebackers on the team. He has received several D1 offers, and more are expected to come in for him.
Malcolm Ziglar Malcolm Ziglar 6'2" | 200 lbs | DB Fuquay Varina | 2024 State NC – DB, 6’2″ 190 (Previously unranked, No. 1 DB, No. 9 Overall), Fuquay Varina HS. Malcolm displayed the ability to change directions quickly to cover receivers. He displayed very good technique in man-coverage making it difficult to complete a pass against him, often intercepting passes. He is the leader and a dominant player in the defensive secondary. Malcolm has received several Power5 and D1 offers, and more are expected to come in for him.
Nnamdi Ogboko Nnamdi Ogboko 6'5" | 340 lbs | DL South Garner | 2024 State NC – DL, 6’5″ 325 (Previously unranked, No. 2 DL, No. 2 Overall), Riverside HS. Nnamdi displayed good technique and good use of hands to control blockers while moving past for stops. He displayed upper body strength to overpower blockers to stop the ball carrier. He finished the season with 61 total tackles, 11 which were for losses. The recruiting interest has heated up for him recently. Nnamdi has received several D1 offers during the past several months.
Ryan Ziegler Ryan Ziegler 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Cardinal Gibbons | 2024 State NC – LB, 6’0″ 215 (Previous No. 7 LB, No. 4 LB, No. 53 Overall), Cardinal Gibbons HS. Ryan has been a steady performer at linebacker during his three years at the school. He is the best returning defensive player on the team for the upcoming season. He displayed very good lateral movement and speed to cover a lot of ground quickly for stops. Ryan finished the season with 44 total tackles, 9.5 which were for losses. He had 37 solo tackles during the season. Ryan has received 2 D1 offers since the season ended.
Anthony Walker Anthony Walker 6'0" | 215 lbs | LB Hough | 2024 State NC – LB, 6’0″ 215 (Previously unranked, No. 3 LB, No. 6 Overall), Hough HS. Anthony displayed very good lateral movement and speed to cover ground quickly to make stops. He displayed very good technique on tackles made in the open field. He finished the season with 67 total tackles, 10 which were for losses. Anthony had 40 solo tackles during the season. He has received several D1 offers and more are expected to come in for him.
Desmond Jackson Desmond Jackson 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL West Forysth | 2024 State NC – OL, 6’5″ 290 (Previously unranked, No. 3 OL, No. 15 Overall), West Forsyth HS. Desmond displayed good footwork and good technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed upper body strength to overpower defenders while drive-blocking defenders out of the play. He is a mobile and agile big offensive lineman. Desmond has received several D1 offers, and more are expected to come in for him.
Elijah Tillery Elijah Tillery 6'6" | 185 lbs | QB Draughn | 2024 State NC – QB, 6’6″ 180 (No. 2 QB, No. 20 Overall), Draughn HS. Elijah displayed good arm strength on his medium and deep-ball throws. He displayed leadership while directing a high-powered offense during the season. Elijah completed 159 passes for 2,549 yards and 32 TDs. He averaged 169.9 yards per game and 16 yards per throw. He had 78 carries for 590 yards and 10 TDs. Elijah finished the season with 3,139 All-Purpose yards and 42 TDs. He was a key player on the basketball team. Elijah has received several D1 offers and more are expected to come in for him.
– WR, 6’2″ 185 (Previously unranked, No. 10 WR, No. 105 Overall), Smoky Mountain HS. Da’Mare plays multiple positions for his team. He ran good pass routes and good separation from defenders to make catches. He finished the season with 61 receptions for 1,024 yards and 13 TDs. Da’Mare had 26 carries for 172 yards and 1 TD. He finished the season with 1,196 All-Purpose yards and 14 TDs. Da’Mare has received several D1 offers and more are expected to come in for him.
