I hooked up with the CEO of RecruitNE_GA, Coach D. He gave me tons of information and some insights on who are those underdogs in Georgia. Let’s dive in!
Eric Hart – WR/DB – Mountain View HS / @Eric2Hart
Hart has good effort and technique as a route runner. Can beat the press with elusiveness or physical contact. Hart can run persuasive routes with good cuts. Hart has great body control and strength to squirm out of tackles.
Brandon Bailey – DT/DE – Gainesville HS / @brandonbailey07
Bailey penetrates through gaps, often forcing running backs to elude him or the back end of the offensive lineman he’s pushing before they even reach the line. He’s ready for the physicality of the college level; he has a stout build, strong core and powerful limbs to step in right away as a three-down player. Bailey provides some secondary interior pass rush, getting most penetration when playing three technique.
Luke Metz – LB/TE – Mill Creek HS
Metz is a fluid, fast and aggressive tackling machine, an elite athlete considering his size (he has room to add more weight to his frame). Metz is excellent in coverage. Metz is capable to have an upfield burst and flexibility to dip and scrape.
Christopher “CJ” Garrett, Jr. – QB – Bradwell Institute
Garret has plus arm strength and a willingness and ability to throw receivers open, as well as good ball placement out to intermediate levels. Generally he’s accurate on intermediate and short throws; flashes anticipation and placement on intermediate outs and the ability to lead receivers on deeper throws. Garret possesses very good vision balance, elusiveness and deceptive speed and power as a runner.
Jalon Copeland Jalon Copeland 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Valdosta | 2026 State GA – DB/WR – Valdosta HS
Copeland does a good job getting his head around in time when playing with his back to the line of scrimmage. Has the ability to cover quickness underneath. Copeland also has the good long speed to turn and run as a press coverage guy and the powerful hands to disrupt receivers early in the route.
