Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Raul Cepeda, LB – South Dade High c/o 24
6’0 225lbs
Cepeda is an intriguing player out of South Dade High located in Homestead, Florida. Cepeda doesn’t have any MaxPreps stats, but on film he looks like a player that could really make a move to be one of the better linebackers in South Florida this season. He’s a downhill player that plays with physicality and possesses good upper body strength to post out blockers and shed to get to the football, plays downhill and shows good acceleration and quickness in short areas, and does a nice job working through traffic to get to the ball carrier. Versatile and can line up in multiple positions on defense.
Jayden Taylor Jayden Taylor 5'10" | 190 lbs | DB William M. Raines | 2024 FL , DB- Raines High c/o 24
5’10 187lbs
Taylor was a big part of a stout Vikings defense that helped Raines High go 9-3 last season and advance to the regional finals of the state playoffs. Last season he finished with 76 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 2 int, 6 PD and 2 forced fumbles. All around safety who’s good against the run or in coverage, shows the speed and man coverage ability to play in the slot, has instincts at the break on the ball and does a good job tracking the ball in the air. Against the run he’s aggressive and is a very good open field tackler, and plays with sideline to sideline range. He’s also a good student with a 3.2 GPA. He’s getting some interest from schools like Penn and Robert Morris University.
Elian Godin Elian Godin 6'2" | 195 lbs | LB Ocala Forest | 2024 FL , DB- Forest High c/o 24
6’2 175lbs
Godin had a solid season in 2022 for Forest High located in Ocala, Florida. Last season he registered 74 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 int, 7 PD, and 1 forced fumble. He was selected a two-time Maxprep player of the week. Godin has prototype length you’re looking for in the secondary. Godin covers a lot of ground and is extremely smart (4.6 GPA) and flashes the ability to bait quarterbacks in coverage, does a good job using his length to high point the ball, and processes routes and is quick to react. Coaches need to head to Ocala, Florida this spring and check him out.
Marlon Trask, WR/ATH- South Lake High c/o 24
6’2 170lbs
Trask is a two-sport (Basketball) athlete out of Southlake High located in Groveland, Florida. He was a big bright spot for the Eagles last season and finished the year with 14 catches for 120 yards and chipped in on defense with 6 tackles and 2 ints. Trask is a versatile athlete that plays safety and wide receiver, he shows good acceleration and speed out of a stance, flashes the ability to go up and get the ball in traffic, and has the body control to adjust to tough throws. Possesses good size and athletic traits and is an under the radar player that I think will really have a big season in 2023.
