Tyson Ruffins will choose between Hawaii and Nevada.
He earned All-State honors from Cal-Hi Sports and All-Area honors from the Long Beach Press Telegram.
One of the best remaining defensive backs in Southern California announced his commitment to Portland State last Thursday.
Corey Johnson of Bishop Amat also had offers from St. Thomas and lower level schools like Lincoln University, Benedictine College and Cal Lutheran.
Portland State was the last school to offer Johnson in January.
Highlights
One of the top overall players in the 2025 class got a major offer from UCLA on Saturday.
San Juan Hills linebacker Weston Port Weston Port 6’2″ | 225 lbs | LB San Juan Hills | 2025 State CA is now up to 27 offers and visited UCLA recently.
UCLA has had two San Juan Hills stars play there recently, including class of 2022 receiver Braden Pegan.

Los Alamitos class of 2025 athlete Anthony League Anthony League 6’0″ | 205 lbs | RB Millikan | 2025 State CA was offered by San Diego State last week.
San Diego State is the second school to offer League, joining Colorado.
League ran for 695 yards with seven touchdowns as a sophomore for Los Alamitos last season. He also had 24 tackles with a fumble recovery.

Pacifica of Oxnard running back Josh Joyner Josh Joyner 5’10” | 175 lbs | RB Pacifica – Oxnard | 2024 State CA added an offer from Northern Arizona last week.
Joyner ran for 933 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. He also had 440 yards receiving with four touchdowns.
He is up to 11 offers now with NAU being the first to offer him since Nevada in January.
