Which prospects earned new big offers recently? Let’s take a look…
Air Noland – QB – Langston Hughes
Arguably the top overall prospect in Georgia, the. big left-handed QB from Atlanta saw his recruitment take off after an excellent junior season last year, leading Langston Hughes to the 6A state championship. His offer list is already impressive, but the big offers continue to roll in. Noland earned a big offer from Clemson recently, and he could quickly turn into the Tiger’s top QB targets over the next several weeks. “Air” Noland has easy D1 size at 6-foot-3 195-pounds and has one of the strongest arms across the state. He can make every throw asked of him and does a great job of taking care of thee football, throwing for 55 touchdowns this season with just four INTs. He also threw for an outstanding 4,095 yards during his championship season, and ranked as the No. 1 QB prospect and No. 9 overall in the latest 2024 Prep Redzone rankings.
Kam Mikell – ATH – Statesboro
One of thee top overall athletes in South Georgia, Mikell exploded onto the recruiting scene earlier this year after a phenomenal junior season for the Blue Devils, making big plays at multiple positions throughout the 2022 season. A physically put-together prospect with muscle, Mikell also happens to be one of the fastest and most explosive players not only in the Savannah area, but across Georgia for the 2024 class. Ranked as the No. 30 prospect in Georgia and the No. 4 DB prospect, Mikell is one of the better overall athletes in the area and a two-sport star for Statesboro. Thee 6-foot-2 180-pounder holds plenty of impressive D1 offers from some of the top programs in the country, and he earned a new one recently from the Michigan Wolverines.
Jordan Burns Jordan Burns 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Pace Academy | 2024 State GA – LB – Pace Academy
Another uber-athletic linebacker, this time from the Atlanta area, Burns burst onto the recruiting scene earlier this year and continues to see big offers come his way. His latest major offer came from the Florida Gators, giving him another impressive SEC offer. The 6-foot-1 200-pound Pace Academy standout is lightning quick to the ball and knows how to deliver a sound tackle on the ball-carrier. A versatile defender who can play in multiple linebacker positions, Burns’ athleticism is easy to notice as he made plays all over the field as a junior last year. He’s excellent when getting after the quarterback and shows a good motor in pursuit of the the ball-carrier from anywhere on the field. The Atlanta native is ranked as the No. 68 player in Georgia and the No. 8 linebacker according to the latest 2024 Prep Redzone rankings.
Bryce Clavon Bryce Clavon 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Kell | 2024 State GA – QB – Kell
We’ve written about Clavon for a while now, and there’s a good reason for it. A talented, dual-sport star and a dynamic, playmaking quarterback for the Kell Longhorns, Clavon always showed the ability to play D1 football, and college programs are finally starting to notice. A quick, athletic quarterback with a strong arm, Clavon is known more for his speed and athleticism than his size. If he was just a little taller and a little heavier, Clavon would have a much longer D1 offer list. A baseball star on the diamond, Clavon has plenty of arm strength and is as mobile a quarterback as you’ll find in Cobb County. Clavon threw for an impressive 2,668 yards last season as a junior. He also tossed 28 touchdown passes last fall. An excellent runner and a true dual-threat weapon, the rising senior also took off for 789 yards and 15 more touchdowns on the ground, averaging just under 9 yards per attempt. He earned a new offer from Western Michigan, and more are likely going to head his way this spring.
