March was a big month for several prospects with a pair of Power 5 commits, several new offers, and some players getting on the board with their first offers.

Commitments:
Highly-touted Bellevue West QB Daniel Kaelin Daniel Kaelin 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Bellevue West | 2024 State NE made his long-awaited commitment announcement this month, naming the Mizzou Tigers as his new home. The Tigers add the top-ranked passer in the 2024 class and one of the most prolific QBs to come out of the Cornhusker State.
The Pittsburgh Panthers received a HUGE addition to their offense with the commitment of Papillion-La Vista TE Eric Ingwerson Eric Ingwerson 6'7" | 245 lbs | TE Papillion-La Vista | 2024 State NE . The Panthers offered Eric earlier this month and were able to blow him away during a visit, ultimately securing his commitment.
New Offers:
Top-ranked 2024 prospect Carter Nelson Carter Nelson 6'5" | 215 lbs | TE Ainsworth | 2024 State NE continued to add to his long list of offers, adding bids from Florida and Oregon.
Wideout phenom Dae’vonn Hall added two huge SEC offers early this month. The Bellevue West prospect received offers from Texas A&M and Ole Miss.
Grand Island Northwest 2024 TE Joseph Stein Joseph Stein 6'6" | 225 lbs | TE Grand Island Northwest | 2024 State NE was a big winner in March with several D1 offers coming in. Joseph continued his rise that started last summer with offers from South Dakota State, South Dakota, Western Illinois, Northern Iowa, Nebraska-Kearney, Colorado State, and Northern Colorado.
Elkhorn South OL/DL Ashton Murphy Ashton Murphy 6'5" | 240 lbs | DL Elkhorn South | 2024 State NE hit double-digit offers with scholarships from Iowa State and Army West Point.
Top-ranked 2025 prospect Christian Jones Christian Jones 6'3" | 220 lbs | LB Omaha Westside | 2025 State NE continued to pile on the Power 5 offers this month. Christian received offers from Stanford, Mizzou, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma.
Cross County 2024 TE Tanner Hollinger Tanner Hollinger 6'6" | 235 lbs | TE Cross County | 2024 State NE received a few new offers this month. Tanner received offers from Northern Iowa, Yale, and Dartmouth, totaling 6 Division 1 offers.
Millard North’s star 2025 ATH Caden VerMaas Caden VerMaas 6'0" | 195 lbs | ATH Millard North | 2025 State NE received his second Power 5 offer from Iowa State.
3-star Lincoln East LB Dash Bauman Dash Bauman 6'3" | 200 lbs | LB Lincoln East | 2024 State NE received his second Division 1 offer in March. The US Naval Academy offered the rising monster LB.
Elkhorn North OL/DL Sam Thomas Sam Thomas 6'5" | 270 lbs | OL Elkhorn North | 2024 State NE had a busy month that saw him rake in 3 Division 1 offers. Sam received offer from Wyoming, Air Force, and Northern Illinois.
Westside 3-star LB Teddy Rezac Teddy Rezac 6'3" | 195 lbs | ATH Omaha Westside | 2024 State NE continues his fast rise with five Division 1 offers. Teddy added offers from Fordham, US Naval Academy, Dartmouth, Coastal Carolina, and Army West Point.
Westside 3-star Dual-threat QB Anthony Rezac Anthony Rezac 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Omaha Westside | 2024 State NE picked up two more D1 offers. Anthony received offers from the US Naval Academy and Army West Point.
Papillion-La Vista cornerback Travis Hines II Travis Hines II 6'1" | 160 lbs | DB Papillion La Vista | 2024 State NE received his second offer early this month. A successful trip to Augustana ended in an offer for the physical CB.
Ogallala ATH Harry Caskey Harry Caskey 6'4" | 220 lbs | ATH Ogallala | 2024 State NE added his second Division 1 offer coming from the South Dakota Coyotes.
First Offers:
QB Carson Rauner Carson Rauner 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Elkhorn South | 2024 State NE emerged as one of the top QBs in the state last season with an excellent first season as QB1. Rauner finished his season with 1,602 passing yards (60% comp.), 13 passing TDs, and added 468 rushing yards and 4 TDs on the ground. Carson received his firs offer from the US Naval Academy.
Air Force is making a deep run at Nebraska Prep talent, even finding hidden gems in Minden. Whippet’s star ATH Jake Ryan Jake Ryan 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Minden | 2024 State NE ‘s versatility caught the interest of the Air Force Academy and earned his first Division 1 offer. Jake finished his junior year with 472 rushing yards, 8 rushing touchdowns, 259 receiving yards, 2 receiving TDs, 22 tackles, a sack, an interception, and a crazy 17 PBUs.
Elkhorn South TE/ATH Ethan Duda received his first offer from Washburn University. Ethan was part of a deep rotation in the front seven and at tight end but still showed several flashes of potential. He finished with 19 tackles, a fumble recovery, and seven receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown.
One of two Vikings to pick up their first offers this month. Omaha North safety Donovan Jones Donovan Jones 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Omaha North | 2024 State NE received his first two offers from Minnesota State-Mankato and Wayne State College. Donovan finished his junior season with 46 tackles, 7 PBUs, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions.
Fellow North Viking DeAndre Harper also received his first offer this month, his coming from the Wayne State Wildcats. DeAndre had a great junior season that saw him rise up several teams’ recruiting boards.
Papillion-La Vista Center Dallas Hamilton Dallas Hamilton 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Papillion La Vista | 2024 State NE received his first offer from in-state program Nebraska-Kearney. The Lopers are wise to get an early jump on the top-ranked center in the 2024 class.
