Review:
After a season that had the have more losses than wins in 2021 but that wasn’t the case. 2022 saw a different Riverhawk squad that made a big jump from the previous season. It helps to have one of the best young signal callers in the state that put up huge numbers as a junior. The Riverhawks are really able to spread the football around through the air but are balanced enough with a stable of backs that each were able to contribute in a different way. Where they are going to be explosive next season and where they did most of their damage this year was with their wide receiver core. A lot of star power in the group that can really take over a game especially with a talented quarterback. Up front they have enough returning to give their skill players a chance to really be explosive next season. On defense the Riverhawks are looking to make their biggest jump where they have young talent on the front lines and are going to miss out on senior leadership. At linebacker the Riverhawks have a bunch of studs who made plays all over the field for them this season. Along with defensive back field that is ready to compete against the top offenses in the state and with a tough schedule coming up next season the Riverhawks are a team to keep an eye on.
