Review:
After getting to the state semi-final the Broncos were able to follow that up with another trip back to the playoffs this season. With one of the top offenses in the state and one of the most physical defenses on the other side the Broncos were a force to reckon with all season. Playing one of the hardest schedules in the 4A ranks with two 5A team on the schedule along with having to play some of the top programs in the High Country Conference. The Broncos were able to lean on their senior signal caller who had an amazing season through the air and on the ground. Showing off the athleticism every night out for the Broncos the senior leader is what really started their offense. It helps when you have a bruising running back who isn’t afraid of contact and willing to pick up the toughest yards night in and night out. To go along with a super star receiver that is head to a division one program and his cast mates that were able to pick up big chunks of yards through the air. Where the Broncos really excelled this year was up front with one of the most physical offensive lines we saw all year regardless of classification. These Broncos showed up every game and set the tone for the team. A defense that is known for playing hard every snap had a solid defensive line that really was able to make plays all over the field but especially in the back field. It helps to have stars at linebacker as well that were able to make everyone right on the field and really be the heart of the defense. On the backend there were some young players who were able to setup which is good going into next season but they will miss their senior leadership. This Broncos senior class is going to be remembered for putting Blackfoot on the map and taking the program to new heights.
