Bode Estabrook
Bode Estabrook
Estabrook found ways to make plays from a variety of positions for La Costa Canyon’s offense last season. He’s an adept pass-catcher out of the slot and backfield, and blocks with high effort lining up close to the LOS. He’s creative with the ball in his hands and can shoot the gap through narrow lanes at the second level. Estabrook should continue to see more opportunities for LCC as a senior in the fall.
Daniel Yi
Daniel Yi
Yi flashed playmaking ability at WR/DB as a junior for Palm Desert. He’s instinctive as a cover-corner and jumps routes in the shallow area outside the hash. He’s a nifty slot WR that sets up his routes and understands how to create separation at the top. At 5’11”/165, he’ll need to bulk up going into his senior season but has potential to be a standout player with his level of ball skills and athleticism.
Jordan Jackson
Jordan Jackson
Jackson was a key contributor in all three phases in his first season with Mater Dei Catholic after transferring from Eastlake. He’s a fluid athlete with nimble change-of-direction and twitchy reactions as a RB/DB. He accelerates quickly to get over the top in coverage and shows signs of versatility covering the perimeter and over the slot. Jackson will likely serve as a change-of-pace back to senior RB Anthony McMillian Anthony McMillian 6'1" | 215 lbs | RB Mater Dei Catholic | 2024 State CA but should see his role grow significantly on defense this season.
Michael Yancy III
Michael Yancy III
Yancy’s a developing prospect that filled roles as a DE and special teams player as a sophomore. He’s an athletic rusher off the edge that gets into the backfield with quickness and motor. He holds a small frame for the position at 5’11”/185 but his athleticism could provide some versatility around the front seven depending on how he fills out. Yancy has an intriguing junior year ahead.
Avery Morris
Avery Morris
Morris shows early signs of upside as a raw pass-rusher and an active edge-setter in the run game. He’s still developing physically at 6’1”/180 but is light on his feet and coordinated in his movement at the LOS. He’s shown improvement this offseason in his hand usage and pass-rush technique. Morris will be looking to put more on tape as a junior this season.
