Xavier Gayten Xavier Gayten 6'0" | 190 lbs | RB Brookhaven | 2024 State MS , RB, Brookhaven
Gayten is a shifty running back that also has some power in his punch. Gayten does a great job in drills. He ran a 4.51 at the Miss Lou Combine last weekend. He was unstoppable in one on one drills as well as the 7v7 segment of the camp. Gayten is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back with good speed. He is good with his hands. He can also get it done on the outside or between the tackles.
Jykevious Goss, WR, Louisville
Goss is a very physical receiver. He also is a guy that can line up and play running back. He is a like a Deebo Samuels for his football team. Goss knows how to run good routes. He is deadly once he has the ball in open space. Goss was truly an X factor for Louisville last year. He is the guy quarterbacks look for on third downs.
Ricardo Powell, WR, Ridgeland
It is Powell’s turn to be the man on his team. Last season he was playing with two studs who are now on the next level. This season he is going to be putting up a lot of numbers. Powell can do a lot of things at receiver. He can be a guy that can be a nice target on third down. He also can pick up some yards after the catch. Powell has good ball skills. He will be making it hard on defensive backs next year.
Elgin McDuffey, WR, Callaway
McDuffey plays with a very talented bunch of receivers. This is going to be a big year for Callaway. He is going to be a part of that success. McDuffey runs decent routes. He knows how to get open. He is a player that their fans are going to be expecting to make plays this season. Keep up with him.
Semaj Knowles, DB, Louisville
Knowles won a state title with his team last season. He is a good cornerback with great speed. Knowles does a great job of keeping his receivers smothered. He doesn’t mind coming up to make tackles. Knowles needs to be more aggressive when the ball is in the air. He is a point guard in basketball who makes nice moves in the paint. He needs to use those same skills to be acrobatic when playing defensive back. I think he can be a division one prospect. He has the height and speed. Keep up with this young man.
