WR: Dominick DeBlasio Dominick DeBlasio 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Kaneland | 2024 IL , 5’11” 165, Kaneland
A polished route runner that can challenge nosey deep half safeties. DeBlasio is extremely effective on the scramble drill and can find the holes in zone coverage & exploit them for chunk plays. He’s quick after the catch can sidestep defenders to generate missed tackles, and can line up just about anywhere to provide a mismatch on much slower linebackers.
OL: Christos Alexandros, 6’2″ 295, Lockport
A physical interior prospect that pulls with violent intentions. On tape, Alexandros shows great turnover on his knee drive, a ton of pop as a striker, and a brute lower half. He can easily unlock his hips and sit back to anchor down against a bull rush and takes favorable angles to the block.
LB: Lincoln Adams, 6′ 195, Lake Zurich
Adams is sudden off the snap, gives blocking schemes fits on twists, and will hold his ground when engaged at the point of attack. He has great closing speed, can swiftly disengage to get off 2nd-level blocks, and will use his quickness to split opposing double teams. He’s instinctive in zone coverage and shows strong ball skills.
OL: Andy Mlyniec, 6’5″ 275, Lakes
Exceptional size for a guard prospect with long arms to go with it. On film, Andy’s game has some tenacity to it, and you’ll see him looking to bury defenders through the ref’s whistle. He can pass set to wide nine rushers when lined up at tackle and plays with adequate knee & ankle bend.
WR: Julian Turner Julian Turner 5'7" | 160 lbs | WR Maine South | 2024 IL 5’7″ 165, Maine South
Turner recently transferred in from Montini and Maine South fans should be very excited, as this kid has some explosiveness to his game. Turner is dynamic after the catch has shown impressive top-end speed, to go along with elite wiggle. He’s got a bag of releases to avoid jams, is slippery through tackle attempts and his body control is just ridiculous.
LB: Tim Wessels Tim Wessels 6'3" | 225 lbs | LB Harlem | 2024 State IL 6’3″ 225, Harlem
Wessels has the size you want in an inside linebacker prospect and still has his best ball ahead of him. On film, he will scrape down the line on the backside of runs and has a well-oiled motor that’s always ready to run. He can open his hips and run in zone, does a fine job reading the quarterback’s intentions, and will mirror ball carriers with his shoulders square in order to not over-pursue.
