I received many tape responses, so here are the first five reviews in a series of features coming out throughout the week.

[player_tooltip player_id='516328' first='Brady' last='Bousquet'] | 2024 | RB | Elkhorn South | 5'8" 180 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

Junior RB [player_tooltip player_id='516328' first='Brady' last='Bousquet'] will have big shoes to fill in 2023 as he takes over full-time duties after the departure of [player_tooltip player_id='227026' first='Cole' last='Ballard']. Although a tall task, I believe Brady has all the tools to excel in the role. In a backup role last season, Brady rushed for 364 yards and five touchdowns on only 44 carries. He is a big chunk gainer at 8.3 yards per carry, Brady is a back that can shift and juke his way to extra yardage. He has very good vision and a high IQ that allows him to anticipate where running lanes will be before exploding through them. What impressed me about Brady was his speed coming around the corner and his ability to accelerate once he rounds the edge. Overall a very athletic, shifty player that is set to have a breakout season this fall!

[player_tooltip player_id='250266' first='Na'Zaire' last='Djissenou'] | 2024 | DB/RB | Millard South | 5'8" 170 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

The Patriots have a number of 2024 athletes that are looking to break out next season. One of them is safety [player_tooltip player_id='250266' first='Na'Zaire' last='Djissenou'] who had a very promising junior season that ended with 50 tackles, five pass deflections, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. Na'Zaire is a quick react player with great instincts. He is quick to step up into the box when he reads run and can break on the ball when he sees the QB throw. Djissenou impressed me at the Warren Academy showcase with his quickness and agility, which shows on tape with his ability to close spaces. Na'Zaire is definitely a player I'm keeping on my radar this off-season.

[player_tooltip player_id='546018' first='Thomas' last='Roberts'] | 2025 | DL/OL | Boone Central | 6'3" 195 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

Offenses looking to breathe easy now that [player_tooltip player_id='239789' first='Jack' last='Roberts'] is graduating might have to wait on that because younger brother, Thomas, looks like the same backfield terror as big bro. Thomas is a tall, lengthy defensive end/edge rusher who excels at making splash plays in the backfield. The 2025 prospect ended the 2022 season with 53 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks. One thing I think people underestimate is his speed off the line. Thomas' track background helps give him a quick start off the snap, and when paired with his aggressive play style, it makes for a tough matchup for most linemen and led to his 18.5 stops behind the LOS. Thomas is on the leaner side for a defensive end, but with two more years to continue growing into his frame and developing as a rusher, he should be a monster by the time senior year rolls around.

[player_tooltip player_id='169901' first='Zander' last='Reuling'] | 2024 | WR/ATH | Kearney | 5'10" 175 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

Kearney speedster [player_tooltip player_id='169901' first='Zander' last='Reuling'] enters the 2023 season with a solid case for the top slot receiver in his class. Zander had a breakout junior year in which he hauled in 37 receptions for 643 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Reuling's top assets are his speed which makes him a huge vertical threat. When he's not taking secondaries for a trip downfield, he's breaking down the defense with his quick short routes between the seams. Reuling was also a key player on defense, where he tallied 27 tackles, a tackle for loss, an interception, and recovered three fumbles, with one going back for 6. On defense, Zander always seemed to be at the right place at the right time with a nose for finding the football. He also posted great numbers in the return game, with 251 punt return yards and a touchdown. Zander and the Bearcats are coming off a great season and return more experienced,

[player_tooltip player_id='546021' first='Cameron' last='Bretting'] | 2025 | LB | Lincoln North Star | 5'10" 165 lbs

Hudl | Twitter

The Gators fielded a young team that saw several players step into big roles. Outside linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='546021' first='Cameron' last='Bretting'] took the challenge head on and excelled in the varsity lineup. Bretting racked up 56 tackles, ten tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and an interception. What stood out to me the most from his tape is his ability to play the edge and at the line of scrimmage. He does a very good job getting downhill and disrupting the run game. Cameron has great instincts and can break on the ball quickly when he keys his target. He was most effective in an outside linebacker/nickel hybrid role where he can also branch out into coverage while still keeping an eye on backs coming out of the backfield. Very impressed with Cameron's motor! I'm looking forward to seeing how Cameron's prep career continues to develop.

Make sure to follow @PrepRedzoneNE on Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date with all your Nebraska prep recruiting news.
