He is ranked as the #1 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #1 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends St Thomas Moore in Connecticut.
He has Div 1 next level speed and it pops on film. His balance and body control on his 6’4″ frame is impressive when he makes difficult catches look easy and natural. He is a match up nightmare for defenders with his vertical abilities and long range arms. His secure hands with experience on how to consistently get a free release at the line of scrimmage is what stands out me. A polished receiver who could be asked to contribute early at the D1 level depending on what program lands his talents.
Holds power 5 offers, FBS offers and Ivy League offers. Will see additional offers Spring 2023.
Ty Curran Ty Curran 5’11” | 185 lbs | WR St. Thomas More | 2024 State New E He is ranked as the #2 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #5 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends St Thomas Moore in Connecticut.
Identified and seen as a next level slot/wide receiver for his team. He is quick, twitchy and explosive with ball in his hands. He runs very experienced routes with his loose hips. Has soft secure hands that he uses to pull in darts when targeted. He can stick his foot in the ground, and change direction with a obvious burst of speed that gets him upfield quickly. Knows how to get separation in man and zone coverages. Knows where the ball is and goes up to get it.
Currently has active offers from lafayette, Bowling Green and Charlotte. He will have visits from college coaches during the 2023 Spring evaluation period on April.
Highlights
Zavier Carter Zavier Carter 6’4″ | 190 lbs | WR The Taft School | 2024 State New E He is ranked as the #4 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #20 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends Taft School in Connecticut.
He has a recorded 4.62 40yrd sprint at 6’4″ 192 lbs. That alone will should attract college attention. His film displays good hands with the understanding of how to find the soft spot in zone coverages. He was mostly used in short yardage passing situations and his films shows he is willing to lay out for the ball as he crosses through the linebacker box. He has good athletic ability and knows how to get off bump & run coverages with a free release.
I expect he will see an increase in college attention with summer camp invites from coaches who will want to verify his speed along with potential future growth and development.
Monroe Corniffe Monroe Corniffe 6’5″ | 195 lbs | WR St. Thomas More | 2024 State New E He is ranked as the #5 wide receiver in Connecticut and also the #24 ranked wide receiver in the New England region. He attends St Thomas Moore in Connecticut.
Seen as a jump ball star who will high top and win each battle with his length and high level vertical jumping abilities. Sustains blocks and has very good blocking abilities out on the perimeter. Experienced in all phases of route running by knowing when to sink his hips, plant and break away from defender.
He visited many schools as a rising junior at summer camps. I expect coaches will be checking in on him during the April 2023 spring evaluation period.
