One of the hottest names in the Polk County area for rising prospects resides at Lake Gibson High. Morris had taken the recruiting scene by storm beginning at the start of last summer when he dominated at various Power Five camps. One of those teams, Ole Miss, has come full circle to offer Morris because of his incredible upside. Morris will be the starting quarterback for the Braves this season and will have a lot of eyes studying his performances. He has advanced quarterback mechanics with excellent arm strength. His frame at 6'2, 180-pounds is also intriguing because he has three more years of development left. All college coaches in Florida should start paying attention and get familiar with Morris.

Chance Routson | Class of 2026 | Boca Raton

Routson started behind center as a freshman for Boca Raton last season and has taken that confidence into the seven-on-seven circuit. He threw for an impressive 1400 yards with 14 passing touchdowns. His improved release combined with above-average timing makes Routson an interesting quarterback prospect to keep an eye on. I watched him dominate the competition during a 7v7 tournament while completing nearly every throw he wanted. Of course, the setting is merely the real thing but from watching his footwork, mechanics, strong arm, and overall athleticism, I'd say the 6'3, 178-pound prospect could be one of the top rising 2026 prospects in the area.

The 6'5, 185-pound freshman could be one of the most exciting quarterback prospects in southeast Florida because of his incredible frame and upside that isn't found in many quarterbacks his age. Hart can generate smoke around his recruitment just because of his size but when watching him move fluid around the pocket and spin it all weekend during a 7v7 circuit, his actual upside is the real deal. Hart sat behind Coastal Carolina commit and former state champion [player_tooltip player_id='128298' first='Blake' last='Boda'] where both are trained by BTrueQBTraining. Hart has had time to learn the fundamentals of the position while learning what it means to lead a team. I'll certainly be paying attention to his recruitment and Florida coaches should as well.

Joseph Weathers | Class of 2026 | Fort Pierce Westwood Academy

I was unfamiliar with Weathers before this weekend but the rising freshman quarterback displayed some of the best patience and composure in the pocket that I saw this weekend in Fort Pierce. Weathers is a smart quarterback that understands how to go through his progressions and not lock on one receiver or route concept. Weathers put together a decent freshman season with part-time varsity duties which the dual-threat prospect will use during the off-season to develop his bag of skills.
