Chris Griffin
Chris Griffin
Cat quick off the edge in a 3-pt stance, Chris could be easily as effective from a 2-pt stance playing in space as an OLB at the next level. He does a great job of tracking down the ball carrier in open field and when engaged with an offensive tackle has the hands and length to make quick work of the blocker. His long arms and high motor definitely play to his advantage and he has the frame to add weight without losing that speed and explosion. He is beginning to gather interest from schools this spring and look for a big summer heading into the season. His Twitter handle is @_cgriffin06
Solid Two-way player from the southern part of the state, Jake does a great job of manning both his WR role as well as playing OLB for the Indians of Mascoutah. He does a good job of going up for contested balls on offense and is a dangerous open field tackler on defense. Look for big plays on both sides of the ball from Jake as he helps Mascoutah make another deep playoff push in November. His Twitter handle is @JacobFritz_3
Jack LoConte
Jack LoConte
Phenomenal cornerback prospect for the Thunderbolts, Jack is equally skilled at playing zone and making pass breakups all over the place or running with any receiver in press man to man coverage. He has very fluid hips and good enough speed that there aren’t many catches that happen on him. On top of his fantastic coverage skills he is also a more than adequate tackler in the open field. A two sport athlete (Baseball) he will have his choice on what to play at the next level as his skills should impress some schools heading into the 2023 season. His Twitter handle is @22jackloconte
Chris Roszak
Chris Roszak
A long player on the defensive line for Taft, Chris does a really good job of handling the edge and what comes his way. He is very quick off the ball and has good hands when going up against offensive tackles. He doesn’t bend as good as he can just yet, but he makes up for it by having good speed and being able to chase down ball carriers in the backfield. Once he can add some more size to his frame and work on staying below the pads of the blockers he could be a real demon. He has great grades (3.5 GPA) and it shows with some of the schools that have expressed interest in his abilities. His Twitter handle is @ChrisRoszak
Ethan is a very impressive player who unfortunately missed most of his Junior season with an injury. What film he does have shows a fantastic MLB who has size, speed and awareness to make plays all over the field. He is a sure tackler who doesn’t miss in the open field and often sends the ball carrier backwards with the force he tackles with. The injury doesn’t seem to bother him anymore as he is routinely squatting close to 450 pounds consistently on his Twitter page. He will once again be a terror on the field for the small, southern Illinois school of Paris High School. He is beginning to get quite a bit of interest from the Pioneer League as he is a straight A student (3.97 GPA) and can obviously excel in a college setting. Look for a big season from Ethan on the field and off of it. His Twitter handle is @EthanCurl6
Highlights
Joe Nolan
Joe Nolan
Smart, tough, physical and multiple are the best words to describe Joe on the field. His intelligence (4.06 GPA) definitely shows on film as he is often where the ball carrier is going to be before he even gets there. He also has the ability to play multiple spots for the Caravan as he is equally adept as playing inside the tackle box, covering a slot receiver or even rushing the passer from a standup DE. A strong tackler in space as well, look for a big season from Joe as he is beginning to gather interest from some of the higher academic schools at all levels. His Twitter handle is @joe52nolan
Nasty slot receiver from Glenbard East, Dailen is everything you would want from that position. He runs good routes and will go up to try and catch every ball thrown his way. He also possesses great speed and is able to run away from any defensive back trying to cover him downfield. He isn’t afraid to go block a defender anywhere on the field as well, and that is a definite eye opener for college recruiters. He is making a ton of trips this spring to some major D2 powerhouses and I would look for him to get an offer sometime this summer. His Twitter handle is @DZollicoffer8
