To a casual viewer, linemen are nothing more than fodder that blocks the view of skill players from the TV cameras. To the right eyes though, linemen offer the best entertainment in sports. Linemen are required to be as graceful as deer, strong as bulls, quick as foxes, and humble as mothers. 6A Wichita offers tons of talent at every position of the sport, especially on the line. Just about everything about his game exploded to a new level for him to put on display. His drive off the ball was fantastic. Although he may have some flat feet or moving slower, he has the strength to overcome. He also seems to be the guy when Heights needs a screen play to work properly. He works in space with savvy,  head on a swivel before finding a LB or safety to light up. His footwork has improved drastically and allows himself to be put on an island with some rushers if need be. His game as also evolved into him laying out d-linemen against their will. It is impressive to see utility guys play all over the offensive line and do it at levels like Cabral. Derby is no different. Spotting up one of the best running back talents in the country is [player_tooltip player_id='1105460' first='Gabriel' last='Henriques']. Henriques is a mountain of a talent that runs much faster than anyone should at that size. He is great at getting to the second level and meeting linebackers before they know where the ball is headed. All too often though will he pull up and only get in the way of backers. No they will not make the tackle, but nothing makes me smile more than linemen hitting people into oblivion. He does everything else great though. His speed lets him set the edge on outside runs and his footwork grants him the pass to remain on an island by himself on pass rush. He has the strength to get you stopped and stood up, to which he will not hesitate to just throw you out of the way, literally. You have no one between you and the running back until a shadow appears to your right. You look over and every bit of 6'5u0022 and 265 pounds is barreling right at you. What is your nightmare is [player_tooltip player_id='543029' first='Dalton' last='Schraeder']'s dream. This man lives to be a pulling guard or tackle and light up unsuspecting blitzers. He is very strong and has the strength to push linemen back while still anchoring himself and not getting pushed back. Every play he is seen getting hands on someone in order to open running lanes for guys like Bohannon in the backfield. I was surprised to see a small number of pancakes in his film however. They are there, and they are pretty, but with his pop and power they do not quite fall over. Hardgrave is an exciting exception to that rule. at 6'6 and 260 pounds, Hardgrave uses his size to lock down the paint, but also to hold down his side of the offensive line. Parker is very strong and utilizes this to throw away tackles like their children. He seems most comfortable combo blocking and pancaking defenders before taking on the second level. His feet do get flat at times, which makes it hard for him to fight and gain control of the outside on stretch runs and tosses. He also struggles at times to keep his base and will stand straight up with defensive ends. His biggest upside though is that he is going into his junior year. He is a big man that is a brick wall for linemen and linebackers alike. His speed is what is the most surprising. This man can actually fly! Where he loses me though is his tenacity. Several times over the season Sneed is seen to let up and keep his arms inside his body right before he makes contact with the defender. This is why Sneed does not produce many pancakes blocks for this Buffalo offense. I would love to see Sneed find that second gear in his game and capitalize on his speed and size.
