This class has some guys that obviously haven’t been talked about much. Here are some 2026 guys you need to be familiar with.
Colton Moore Colton Moore 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Oak Mountain | 2026 State AL , LB, Oak Mountain
Moore is very efficient in their pass defense. He knows how to move his feet. He also knows how to get those hips moving towards the right direction to make big plays. Moore is very aggressive in coverage. He loves to attack the football. He even came away with few interceptions last season. Him being a freshman didn’t bother him on the field at all. I think this season is going to be when he really turns it on. He has gained some weight as well. That is going to help him be more dominant this season.
Dylan Cope, Hewitt-Trussville, WR
Cope has a very quick release from the line. Most corners his age aren’t ready for his smooth, but quick release. He also knows how to become a big target when he sees a defense is playing zone coverage. Cope makes himself look similar to a big man playing the post in basketball. He also knows how to be a playmaker after the catch. Cope is going to be a division one player. He is a big player that can move. He is mean once he turns into a ball carrier. This young man is going to have college coaches blowing up his phone. He can get the job done on the football field.
Bryson Riggins, QB, Central
Riggins is a quarterback that a lot of coaches will want on their team. He is a guy that has much upside. Coaches will soon be knocking his door down trying to recruit him. Riggins is a dual threat QB with a great arm. He is young, so yes he has things to work on. However, you can see the potential when you watch his film. He knows how to get the football out on time. He also does a great job of leading his receivers. I want to see him more before I make too many predictions. I do think that he has a chance to be a QB on the next level.
Caiden Brown, G, BB Comer
Brown is very strong and has some decent size for his age. He gets behind his behind and drives defenders out of his way. He knows how to be patient with his hands. Brown doesn’t give up his ground. He makes sure he wins the battle at the line of scrimmage. He has a wide body that makes it jard for defensive linemen to get around him. Brown has great lower body strength. That gives him a great advantage when facing those big defensive linemen.
