Continue ReadingAnson is a 6-2 200lb WR from Columbia who boasts incredible strength, power and speed. Anson, also known as AJ was a consistent and reliable receiver for columbia this past season. Lewis ability and skill set allow for him to break regular completions for huge explosive gains. His ability to beat defenders and win the 50/50 balls makes him a valuable prospect in the passing game. It all boils down to AJ being an athlete who needs to have the ball in his hands. So far Anson has received offers from both Ole Miss and Mississippi State. I am convinced however that he will earn more offers as his level of play continues to consistently improve.
Oatis is an incredibly productive Defensive lineman who is yet to receive his stars but deserving of at least 3-4. Kevin Oatis Kevin Oatis 6’3″ | 265 lbs | DL Hattiesburg | 2025 State MS , or KO, played lights out last season as a sophomore. Whatever position he is put at he simply goes and produces. On the defensive line Oatis frequently pushes back opponents deep into the backfield where he makes a play on the ball. His energy and production is one that will truly boost any roster both in high school and college. So far Kevin has received multiple offers from programs such as Alabama, Mississippi State, Michigan and more. The options for this kid will continue to grow as he continues to perform at this high level.
Dillon is a quick and explosive receiver with the ability to take the ball to the house on any given play. His speed and elusiveness are characteristics that have helped him be incredibly productive this last season. With over 700 yards receiving Alfred’s level of play earned him an early offer from Ole Miss all the way back in November. This kid is near unstoppable with the ball in his hands as his break away speed is a skill that sets him apart from the rest. Dillon will surely receive more offers as he puts up more monster numbers and plays the way he does.
Highlights
Tyreke earned a varsity roster spot on a team that is a perennial competitor for the state championship. Darden stands at 6’2 as a sophomore and has proven to be effective at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. As a receiver he has the ability to create separation from defenders and on defense he boasts the ability to provide tight coverage, knock down passes, create turnovers and make big time hits. I expect Tyreke to continue to play at a high level, earn himself multiple offers and perhaps even help his team win a state championship. He is certainly a name to know both during this spring and throughout the next seasons.
Some may question Darrell Smith Darrell Smith 5’8″ | 165 lbs | RB Picayune | 2025 State MS ‘s size but he has consistently proven that his size does not affect his performance. Smith runs with power, balance and speed. His sophomore year Smith averaged over 13.4 yards per carry all the while displaying his ability to break tackles, make defenders miss and be one of the most productive backs in the state. Due to his potential Darrell is set to eclipse his performances year after year. Smith has already received a D1 offer but I am certain that he will collect more as he leads the Picayune Tide to several victories over his playing career.
